DVD Shrink Error

Recently my DVD Shrink will not backup some DVD's..mainly new titles.I was able to burn King Kong but not Fun With Dick and Jane or Memoirs of a Geisha. When i try to open disc it reads "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid DVD navigation structure". If anyone knows how to fix this problem please share your info. *crosses fingers* hope its not cause of new copy right protection.

You need a copy protection removal software.

Yes it is the copy protection, and Shrink alone will not do these movies. Download the free DVDFab Decrypter and rip the movie to your HDD and then process it with Shrink. You can get it here

Or if you have not tried AnyDVD and Clone DVD then download these from the slysoft site. AnyDVD is a driver that works in the background and breaks the encryption and Clone will compress and burn your file.

Shrink = outdated

As great as it is, Shrink is old. It is no longer being updated to reflect the newer encryptions. Thus, it is simply academic that it won't do squat on newer movies.

Don't get me wrong, I still love and use Shrink religiously, but the catch is, I use it in conjunction with AnyDVD, hence the reason why I rarely have any problems backing up movies.
