Okay enough is enough. I have singlehandedly ruined this thread for everybody. Sped and Bacon, I hope we can move forward. Everybody else, I'm sorry this thread has turned into a soap opera. I'm leaving, and hopefully taking everybody else who doesn't belong here with me.

Iv downloaded the newer version and still no luck with the PO's and jitter oh well.
DJash if your wanting authentic TY's in the UK just have a read of this thread, also if you do buy from these people it'd be nice to follow the last bit about submitting a seller review as I like to think thats our little part in this site being the only reliable and authentic place to get TY's in the UK from and it'd be nice to let everyone know, so not everyone falls into the 'I'v been scammed' category.

Lol i leave the thread for a few weeks and this happens? Hah, man i dont get what all the fighting is about, its quite stupid to abuse people on forums like this, you'll always end up worse off than you started, e.g. look at the suspended members! Anyway, KH2, Shadow Hearts, TOL, Grandia III and a few other games are now on my buying list, cant wait for the mid semester break so i can buy them and play them. Oh well, sorry to see this thread die.... I guess you cant keep it going for ever.

Kingdom heart is just not my taste. I feel weak when I try to take cartoons seriously. I can only take X-men and spiderman cartoons seriously.

Sorry i'm in the middle of the road.
All new RPG games like Suikoden V, Kingdom Hearts, Shadow Hearts are SUCK. I was waste my money to rent them. So just let you guys know.
I don't know about Grandia 3 yet.

Dead thread, how depressing... Grandia III is pretty good i think, the story seems to have weird moments, its quite up and down for most of the 2nd disc. But from mid-first disc onwards it essentially becomes a dungeon crawler, which i hate. There are very few boss battles, but the difficulty of the game overall is quite high. I had fun playing it upto this point, but then i started to play KHII. Once i finish this, i'll go back to all the RPG's i only started/am mid-way thru.
TO summarise, good game if u can handle the dungeon crawling, expect to build a lot of levels up to beat some bosses though, and even get thru some areas. It can be pretty brutal if ur a first timer, or if ur just plain shit at the game. lol

man im a huge fan of the final fantasy series my-self. But it seems like to me that with every new game they make, the main character gets wimpier and wimpier. i mean u take final fantasy 7 and 8 for instance, cloud and squall were cool. cloud had the biggest sword i'd ever seen and squall could cut someone and shoot them at the same time, u can't tell me thats not awesome. ff9 was ok, for certain it was different and the 2nd best ff for ps1 besides ff7. no doubt that ffx had the best graphics and story line we had seen so far but the main character looks like a punk compared to the older ff's. does anyone else think this or is it just me.

Seriously Iv been sayin that exact same thing forever so no its not just you. I agree hella. DOnt know why ppl think FF9 is weak I thought it was good, better than 10 in my opinion. But yea nothing can beat 7.
Hopefully the Advent Children wont have crappy dubing isnt it comin out real soon? Also dirge of cerburrus or how ever u spell it kinda looks promising. If FF7 or 8 or 9 is goin to be available for PSP when they start the whole download PS1 games on the PSP thing that would be amazing. But then again Sony says alot of ish that seems too good to be true.
The next FF better put an end to whimpies and medevil knights and armor and castle ish cuz i cant stand it anymore... too many rpg's are like that nowadays its getting old.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

I like how FF XII has a new way of introducing battles during gameplay. Instead of the screen spiralling into the centre of the screen, you can approach an enemy without the camera angle even changing. You would fight a beast in a 3rd person style. Good thinking Squaresoft! :)

Its kind of too bad Square ran out of ideas after they made 6. Hell 7 was just borderline able to hold the FF title without blemishing it. FF8 and onwards are just disasters. No the combat isn't any worse than the previous games, yes the visuals are better, MUCH BETTER in each successive sequel. Guess what they missed out on? Yeah thats right, a thrilling story and.....the ability for the player to sympathise/understand the plight of thier characters, or as I like to put it in laymans terms "the thing that makes you want to even give a f**k about who's doing what and where you are going next on the world map". Honestly, how many more blockheaded silent protagonists can Square make before they drain all the fan favour out of the series? Granted FFIX started to break this trend and so did FFX, but come on. Appealing to younger gamers through flashy graphics instead of garnering old fans with an engaging story and deep tactical/strategy....they missed that chance quiet a few times.
The reason FF Tactics was such a great game is Atlus made it. Atlus, the same team that made Tactics Ogre and Ogre Battle, 2 of the best strategy/rpg games ever created. Square saw thier potential for big $$$ and recruited them for FF Tactics. Unfortunately it seems Square dispensed with them after the game....silly, pure geniuses just left to go to waste. I believe Atlus (under another guise) have since made Disgeae Heart of Darkness, a hark to thier well developed strat/rpg formula, which from reading reviews is just top notch fun. I believe Disgeae 2 is being release Q4 2006 or so.
Bleh I've rambled on, but only because I remember what it was like playing FF6 for hours, like 80+ and enjoying every piece of hidden gameplay out there, while simultaneously enjoying my characters and thier quirks/strengths. Atm, when I fire up FF8+, I honestly don't give a crap whos in the team, they all seem homogenous as hell and add nothing to the immersion factor.
To end this tirade, I only hope they return to thier roots of grand story telling and epic feeling to thier games. FFXII preview videos from E3, while very flashy and high in CGI value, didn't really show anything excitingly new, other than the fact the art team had flexed thier massive drawing biceps while no mention of even lifting a weak finger for the story side of things. Hopefully I am proven wrong.
Either way, you always do know that the FF fanbois will download the game, be it shit or not. I know I will, but I'll probably curse Square again :P

I'm deff not sick of it, but FF X-2 completely blowed and FF XII was a huge mistake (trying to put it online). But this new one wont be this online crap and it'll be like an actual game, so I'm looking forward to that
