problems with shrink encoding Grey's anatomy season 1

I have tried using shrink,dvd decypter and dvd 43 to burn the two disks of Grey's anatomy season one. I get about 5 minutes into the encoding and it freezes and i get a :cylic redundancy error:. I have tried using full disk and re-author and burn using nero and iso image and burn with decrypter and always the same problem. I have been trying to burn the menus and the full disk.

When I use re-author and try to encode just the main movie and not the menus i don't seem to have any problem.

Any suggestions.

Run it through vobblanker before trying to shrink. This can fix all sorts of junk that may be on the disc. Buena Vista DVD's like Brother's Grimm had ARccOS protection, so maybe this DVD is using some form as well.
