I have nero 5 and whenever im done encoding the files to my harddrive the nero box pops up and ejects the disk and says insert a blank one. So i get ready to do that then "BAM!" error message pops up it says "file relocation error" ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling in a differnt order and no forums so far have been of help. Also on my last computer it did burn exact copys with nero i had no trouble which led me to belive that the order of installation mattered... 0_o
fsckthat,
Is the verson you are using at least version 5.5.10 or higher. Is the fimware for the burner up to date. Can you post the Nero Log of the last burn w/ the error
I updated Nero so i am currently running 6.6. Here is the error message. Also, My computer has a dvd drive not burner so i use my external dvd drive connected by usb. Is Nero trying to burn with my first one even though it ejected the disk from my usb dvd burner?

You are using in infamous Nero version 6.6.1.4. You need to uninstall it and then D/L Nero Cleantools and remove completely that version. Reboot and then install the below and go no higher than the update below:
