DVD Shrink I/O Device Error. Help Please

I've tried shrinking several DVD's without luck, error message reads;
DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Copy protection error.
The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
Can anyone help???? Thanks.

Your error indicates that the disc has protection on it that DVD Shrink cannot handle on its own, you may need to rip to HDD first using a program such as DVDFab Decrypter.

Thanks for that, but can you tell me step by step what exactly I need to do. Sorry not the best at handling a PC or the jargon. I've now downloaded the software you recomended and its telling me its done its bit so now what is the procedure to get it into DVD shrink and onto my new Ipod???

OOkay..

1-) Download DVD Decrypter

2-) Open, Mode>ISO>Read

3-) Copy To Hard drive

4-) Download \ Open DVD Shrink

5-) File>Open Image> BACKUP! at top of prog.

6-) Choose Program To Burn With, Click Button and if you just want to shink..... i havent fiddled with that yet..
