I wait until I burn them. That way I only handle the discs one time.
Also never know which disc I'll need to burn (print to hub, or print to center).

It seems like the point of this thread has changed but, In my school dumpster i found, 13 computers, 7 good screens, 3 giant printers to print posters, and a small printer. I took 2 hd's and 2 sticks of ram. I hit the jackpot and I dont know what to do, what should I do AD!!!!

Listen here, Greensman, (picking my nose), just what do you mean by that? I'll have you know that some of the greatest minds they have here at AD are divers. Course I ain't one of em, but you can imagine the technical expertise of an individual so focused and driven to excel that he would put himself in unbecoming situations in order to go beyond the average. Someone who digs in the dumpsters of information, throwing aside the rotten lettuce of bad media and Budweiser cans stinking of vague answers to emerge more complete and well-rounded. If not for those brave souls who root for what is there for the taking for free when only the rich and prosperous could afford it, where, oh where MR. GREENSMAN, would we be?! GOD BLESS JVC!!! SAY IT!!! SAY IT!!! OW-OWWWW!!! Whew...sorry Greensman. It's been a long dry spell; I haven't had a case in almost 3 weeks. I just keep going from dumpster to dumpster. Sometimes I even go by video stores that aren't on my way home. I don't know man, maybe I should move to Cincinnati. They say the dumpsters down there are overflowing with cases.

Poor, poor little RippDogg....wimper, wimper, wimper. I hope that you know that I was just poking a little fun at the divers with my long white PVC pole. Mwuuaaa-haha-hahahaha!! That dang Red's fan has me so GREEN with envy that I can't even think right or bring myself out of my own pit of despair to go for another dumpster dive myself. ;) I've looked but never made the actual plunge into oblivion. Although I agree with you about the aD helpful, they still scare me when they rummage through the trash. They better not be going through mine cause they'll come up with a handful of baby poo-poo from my youngest and that's it. I don't throw nuttin away if it has some value, especially DVD/CD cases. hehe. I also have gone astray from the norm and ventured amongst the outer edges of suburbia to rescue the lost or abandoned case. Please, a cry for the lost or even some quiet time just to remember them. I will not move to Cincinnati, I know the people that live up there. They are braggarts and hoarders. I still have so much animosity for the Red's fan, if only he would share in the wealth I think that I could forgive him. I would have so much love for him and what he does for the poor lost little cases on the eve of sharing. In this reguard he is my HERO but my envy still gets the best of me unfortunately at the expense of the poor little cases.

Was a combination of Internet service Down/wonky & mourning Anna NIcole Smith !( R.I.P. ) Now the internets back up again & she's still gone ! Maybe there's a curse on big chested Blondes like there is on Fat comedians !? Sounds Crazy ? think about it ! John Belushi, John Candy , Chris Farley - all ( Wieght Challenged -) Fat -all comedians !, all Dead ? -Big chested Blondes - Marilyn Monroe ,Jayne Mansfield , Carol Wayne , Anna Nicole Smith ? - All Blonde ,all big chested-all Dumb blonde stereotyped ! all dead - The CURSE !!!!!? It's that damn Pacific underwater alien community. They've been taking our most precious entertainment commodities for years and replacing them with cloned bodies. BTW, you forgot to add Kinison..ie...a fat comedian AND he had a pretty good rack. From the dumpster front: no luck up here. It's about -20 with the wind chill, and last night it took me 15 minutes to unfreeze my tongue off of a tasty-looking morsel I found while scrounging. BTW, don't consider eating anything you find unless you have immediate access to microwave technology. I've been at the pool all morning.

Its been awhile since I posted here, but recently a friend of mine (who is also a DVD buff) has taken all of his DVDs and put them in binders so he has no need for the cases anymore. He's kept the jackets inside (to put into a filing cabinet) but he's given me over 150 single cases and about 50 doubles. Two words come to mind:
Jackpot Baby!
I won't be needing to do any diving for quite awhile. Yee ha! Any good hauls lately?

SolShrike- Long time no hear from you ! Glad your back ! - I checked out a alternate Dumpster - VideoUsa - near My house (18Miles ) They are going out Of bussiness So I figure they might star dumping all Kinds of good stuff ? Well This is the last time I check that one ! They opened a walk in Clinic in same stripmall as Videousa & Guess where they dump their waste ? You got it ! garbage does'nt scare me But I ain't rooting around in medical waste ( Period en :quote:') You gotta draw the line somewhere & that's it for me !
