Hi,
I'm encountering following problem when trying to burn 7.39GB movie into 4.7GB DVD-R disc using DVDShrink software.
problem is as follows.
DVD Shrink encountered a problem and cannot continue.
failed to read file ".........\VIDEO_TS\VTS_05_1.VOB"
Invalid access to memory location.

I made sure that the file exists.

I've copied all the files from 7.39GB disc into my hard drive & am shrinking from harddrive by selecting "Open FIles" for analysis.
I was successful in doing for couple of movies but couple other movies are failing.
I've gone through the forum & tried to use "AnyDVD Decryptor" but I'm not getting option of decrypting files from harddisc rather settings are default to drive & can't be changed.

How do i fix this?

It also tells you how to deal with the error within DVD Shrink by trying to reopen the same file again without closing DVD Shrink, or by disabling the video preview feature during quick analysis.

I tried that option but still it's not working.
i unchecked "preview".

I'm getting following problem when trying to decrypt same files using "DVDFab Decrypter".

I thought the movie was already on your HDD? If you are using AnyDVD you don't need DVDFab Decrypter, they will step on each others toes. If you are going to use DVDFab then disable AnyDVD and vice versa. What is the name of the movie?

yes. the movie is on my hard disc drive.
I'm not using both AnyDVD & DVDFAB Decrypter.
I'm just trying different options to see which one works but so far no luck.
movie is in international language (not a english movie).
PS: I was successful with other international language movies.

I even created an image file & tried to shrink this image file using DVDShrink. But, i get a message "failed to open ....\image.nrg"

I just successfully used DVDFAB Decryptor to successfully decipher
Munich. I had the same problems with DVD Decryptor and AnyDVD. I concur with the person who says you can't use AnyDVD and DVDFAB together. If you do, neither will work. It took a long time to decrypt
but DVD Shrink has only a few minutes left on the shrink. Update your
DVDFAB before you try this. Munich is the first instance of problems
with Macrovision which has been a snap up until now. They're starting to toy with the order of things with macrovision just like they did with
Sony ARRcos on Columbia films. Its getting tougher out there
