£424.99 for a 60gig one

well ms knows sony has better games which is why they are fighting to get so many of sonys games on their sys, and they are even trying to exclusive with rockstar lol. so we'll see what happens... we'll watch it unfold.

$400 US seemed expensive for me when the 360 came out (better package) but $600 US for a PS3 is crazy. Because i have a HD TV i would go with the bigger option but the price is way too high. I live in Australia and the better 360 pack retails for $650. This means i am looking at around $850 AUD for a PS3, well F@#K that! Personally i am not impressed with the ps3 exclusives and if it were not for fable 2, halo 3 and gears of war i would seriously look at the Wii instead of the 360!
While prices are this high i will stay with pc games and downloads off torrent sites, after all i am a teenager and not made of money.
PS. I love the originality of the ps3 and its controller. The console has a hard drive (xbox), live hub (xblive), full wireless (GC), It has limited motion sensing (Wii), a guide button (360) and the spiderman font on its cover!

LOL, you really are getting things wrong today joeva, lol, M$ said at their confrence that a patch has been made to make a games compatibe, and that proves it i said to go and reaserch but no you thought you would shove that statment back in my face, just like last time when you said i was trash talking the ps3 like it was 200 dollars more than the xbox 360 but that was the funny thing it is. plz do not reply to me unless you have something good to say.

awww now they are going to make a patch to try and make things better.. How sweet of them.
Don't get mad at me cause they didn't do it in the first place. It really isn't my fault. I guess they just said screw backwards compatibility for now, we'll release a patch in about 7 months to fix it if anyone notices.
And as for the $200, The video game store near me called Gadgets and things where selling the system for 400 + 500 so I wasn't really wrong.
I see you aren't my friend anymore lol. Can we 'patch' thing up?

And no offense but after I previewed madden which is one of my favorite games I said I didn't want a 360. I don't kno if you've played it, but that game is trash.

lol, no not ebay, i mean if they are over pricing it in shops near you then get it from websites that are selling them 1st hand for the same price.
i do not live in america so i do not know the situation in the shops over there.
