i had them both on my old PC and had no trouble "doing the deed" and increasing my movie collection.

i would decript and it would go into a nice little fiel - then i would shrink and it would be put into a nice little file on my desktop...

NOW, however, on my new PC, i am getting mutliple files and HAVE NO IDEA what to do with them...

shrink worked fine on my old PC WITHOUT nero (it put everything into a pennical file) and i REFUSE to use nero's INTRUSIVE software... so...

what to do? a setting i missed somewhere?

thanks.

It looks like you had shrink create a hard disk folder (a VIDEO_TS folder containing .vob, .bup, and .ifo files) instead of a single ISO image file.

You have several options:

1) If you plan on burning those files to disk using DVD decrypter, you'll need to convert the files to an ISO image file by using folder2iso. get it free here along with directions;

http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/burn_dvd_folder_dvd_decry...

2) If you have nero, you can use it to burn the files in the VIDEO_TS folder to disk. here's a guide or two to follow;

http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/40/59/
or
http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/article_nero_dvd_burning_page1.ht

3) You can start over, having DVD shrink set correctly, you can have it create an ISO image file then have the file autoburned to disk using DVD decrypter (which is what I believe you're trying to do). When backing up in shrink, choose to save target as "ISO image file and burn with DVD decrypter" from the dropdown menu while in shrink's backup tab, for output location choose your burner.

Note: If you want shrink to create a single image file to be put on your hard drive, just choose ISO image file from the dropdown menu, then you can manually burn the file to disk using DVD decrypter in ISO write mode.

Here's a guide if you need it;

4) The last option is to use shrink to open the files it created in the VIDEO_TS folder (using its open files tab), then click backup and follow the instructions in step 3 above.
