DVD Shrink working right?

I have used dvd shrink and then burned the contents to a dvd... It wouldn't play after I deleted the contents from my laptop (even though it was still on my dvd)... the movie would also not work on my tv/dvd player combo... y is this... am I doing something wrong?

The only thing I can think of is that maybe since I am using WinDVD as my default player for all dvds, that i burn it to the dvd as a WinDVD file and my tv/dvd player combo can not read it... if this is the case then y my computer after having burned it to my dvd and deleting it from my HD?

what brand of media are you using? & are they DVD+R or DVD-R?

TDK is not great media & could be the cause of your problems, try a better brand of media like taiyo yuden, verbatim, sony (made in japan) & see if that ends your problems. also ensure your dvd player will play DVD+R and not just dvd-r
