weird problem latley im having with dvd shrink

The open disk works fine . But when i go to hit back up it brings the usuall window. Where it asks u target device,dvd region etc tabs. Well where it says space required 4.464 this is normal or a little more is. Under niethe it it says space available in folder it says 15196 mb. I got 20 gigs on my HD. Ive never had this prob. Usually it just goes to my c drive never asks for a folder. Does this with every movie. Ive uses dvd shrink for a long time and never say this error.
I think i accedently hit a option that is bad or not correct. Mabey someone can out me intot he right direction.

Do you have Norton Systemworks. If so you have to empty the recycle bin that Norton has w/in the Windows recycle bin. I hope I explained that so you understand

i dont even have nortan
i have avg adn my recycbyn on my desktop is empty
no idea what that has to do with it I never did anything diff to my comp.

Delete DVD shrink and reboot system. Then re-install Shrink and it should work fine. If that does not work then advise us further.

k i unistalled it then reinstalled it and same thing happened. But i didn't uninstall adn reboot ill try that.

Do you mean you've only got 15000mb showing as spare, when you know that it's 20gb
Try pressing windows and the e key, this opens explorer and search for whats taking up your space.
You can also open any folder, my docs for example and go to tools then folder options, then view, and click on 'show hidden files and folders' then apply. See if any of this works.

i hit the window k and e and it jsut brought up my computer. I defraged and nothing. I go to put the save on c drive. ANd is says none seleted its asking for a folder i never put in a folder before. And i never even messed witht hat part ever jkust click backup and bam done wtf is going on

First off your attitude is uncalled for and the people in here are not machines and are not always right, we do make mistakes so cut them some slack. As for if you are talking about the the box that says BACKUP DVD then where it says BROWSE just click on that and put in where you want the movie backed up. Shrink does that sometimes as mine will say REGION Code other times it will be ok and work perfect.

listen I NEVER HAD TO TOUCH IT EVER. Im just upset cause i dont know why this is acting like this. Everywhere i click it says 15mb im not a retard. And ur yelling like u know the answer. ok what its doing is going to c drive into a folder. It ALWAYS has been made to a iso witht he pic of DVD Decrypter.

Is this what you are seeing.
Shrink needs some output folder to place your file if you are sending it to your HDD. You need to browse and choose which folder that is. Give it a name and then it will output the folder to it.

Are you just trying to create an .iso? Big guess here but is your problem that shrink is putting it to a folder and not an iso? Another big guess here - you're burning w/ Decrypter?
Is this what you looking Shrink to look like when you click back up?
If that's the case under 'select back up target' click on the toolbar and pick that option. Shrink will keep the last setting until you change it.

k i fixed it *knock on wood*. K what its doing now is beyond my controll i must have hit a option along the way or somthing. What its doing is shrinking it then burning it with Nero. I ALWAYS use DVD Decrypter. How and why this is doing this i have no clue but it works. TY

It's happening because someone changed what the back up target was. Under 'select backup target' your burner was selected. This will enable autoburning with Shrink. To change it back - change the backup target to 'iso file image and burn with DVD Decrypter'
Shrink keeps the settings the same until you change them.
