Most of the movies I back up I shrink down so I lose as litle VIDEO information as possible. However, how do I keep DTS as well as DD as the soundtrack if I "shrink"?
In many cases, if you want to keep the DTS audio track, you won't be able to do a full disc backup. Try to use the reauthor mode and do the main movie only checking off the audio tracks you want to keep. Keep in mind that DTS audio tracks are very large in size and that you'll get a lot of compression. There is no way to avoid this other than ditching the DTS stream or going to dual layer media.
