If you look at how the psp starts up when you select a game, it has the slashing effect with sounds. This is The PSP Boot for Prince of Persia. You can download Prince of Persia Boot Here! The folowing List in this thread is compiled by me but the information comes from the people who post here!
Before reading this list, You need to read these Questions first:
Q. What are gameboots?
A. (Credit From Eternal's Site) The gameboot is the screen you see when you load homebrew or a UMD. It is normally the plain old boring white PSP screen, but I will show you how to change that.

Q. How do I get a custom gameboot videos for the psp?
A. Well First you will need to find a PSP Game of your choice, the you need to open it up with WinRAR and check if there is a file with a extenstion that has .pmf in it. Choose the one you want and extract that to your root of your memory stick. Next download PSPSet and install it to your PSP, Now boot PSP Set and press custom Boot Sound or what ever its called and choose change with cutom boot. it should load things, then go back to the menu and hopefully it works, Expiriment with more till you find the best one.

Its the gameboot.pmf (the blood slashing one is prince of persia) here's the link:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J00D3AEX put that in the root of your mem stick and run pspset and choose change gameboot, after its done quit pspset and try it out! i just did it and it worked so dont worry :P

Yes you can. There is a program that does all that for you called "X-Flash"
You can get more boots, just find some game ISO's and look for a file called "gameboot.pmf" and experiment around. Tell me if you see something extraordinary. ;)
Btw, I was wondering, as soon as you change your boot, is it safe to delete X-Flash from the memory stick? I probably won't, I'm just wondering.
(PSP getting new LCD, I can see nothing so yeah!)

I have loads of PMF's, but never have actually tested them, and if they are too big of a file, they will not work.

how big is too big?? also, u can use any cut-scene for the boot screen or what? (also if u change the the boot screen, then does it use ur custom one when loading a umd, or the one you flashed and changed?)
also, is there a program to view these files on your pc?

3d, you dont ever listen to me =/
i told u a week before you got your white psp that you could change the gameboots.
And you could do it with psp set.
You were asking about switching your buttons around, and I told you you could use psp set for that, and that psp set could change your wall paper and game boot. it is completely reversible jus like changing a wallpaper.
and uablade you could most certainly create your own gameboots. i think i saw a guide for it a few months ago... if i come across it, its yours.
