pspness, i'm using the PoP gameboot at the moment, i have a good THQ one, but it's 6seconds long, and during the boot it pauses the 'video' after about 2or3seconds. and then fades out and loads the sys. menu
also i could have edited, but whoops, and is there away to remove the 'PSPtm' from the gameboot?
EDIT> the THQ one is only 514Kb, so i know it's not too big in filesize.

uhm, it was an oversight, but we'll be done w/ page 5 soon enough, and then it's onto a new page, and we don't have to worry about the 'quad' post unless someone *mod?* wants to delete my quad post to clean this up, but anyways. because back on topic!

Quad means 4, you posted 5 times, thus I said quit. (Which still isn't right I think)
BTW, anyone notice when you have the codec install, all you have to do is select the PMF, right click, open with...
Doing this, I actully renamed a pmf an AVI and it still loaded. (Duh, it should...) So I'm thinking, maybe you can get a standard AVI under 1.2 MB and rename it PMF and expect it to work.
I don't have a PSP at the moment so I can't test but one helluva idea eh?
lmao
It probably won't work.

wouldnt work the only reason it worked on windows media player is cos it can now (with the codec installed) play both so it opens the AVI file ut then realises it isnt and plays it with the correct codec. whereas the psp (cant read avi) wont do that. im suprised... did it not come up with the screen saying this is the incorrect format make make errors blah blah blah

it will un-brik psp's. It will also alow the use of 1.5 applications on a 2.7 firmware.
When the mod-chip comes out.

well... i got these gameboots from a website, and i tried to make my psp all black and white (looks better than you think) and the boot screen named blankscreen.PMF messed up my PSP. I am so pissed, because this is my second PSP and i am not buying another one. I can use everything that isn't a homebrew or a umd game (basically anything that doesn't go through the boot screen to load).
