As we all know the 360 has an external power brick. This has been subject to a couple of problems. Will the ps3 power brick be internal or external? It is huge enough to be internal but i dont know. If the ps3 is as powerful as stated the adapter would get very hot and to have an internal one could be hazardous to the system. If it is an internal adapter then it will need many fans and will be a very noisy console. If it is external it will be as large as the 360 one if not larger.

it would probably be better from a development point of view (for external), as it would most probally cause heat issues internally. with sony now including the ps2 chipset into the ps3 there will be little to no room inside the console so if sony are smart (not one of their strong points)it will be external, they didnt mind selling the slimline with one and prob wont again.

it would affect the system already lacking cooling so it will be external

but it is so huge already now it get another big accessory. The ps3 is not for the compact gamer. I just think it is funny how sony fans laughed at the size of the xbox and now the ps3 is looming and it is even bigger than the xbox, much bigger.

In case you are wondering the 360 is the same size of the xbox 1.

tom the x360 is about same size as the ps3 (ps3 is a tad bigger) check out this link. besides unless u really got it from ign dont believe it

ur right but the main question is whether the power brick is internal and if so will it cause heating problems. If the ps3 is really more powerful than the 360 it might require more juice so the brick could possibly get hotter causing issues.

it can't be internal if the x360 power brick is anyclue the ps3s will b3 HUGE aswell and it would HEATUP so they gotta keep it on the floor, but the ps3 is also liquid cooled so that might change things.
