Yeh...Sony has the most arrogant bunch of fellas working for them it gets a little funny at times.With al the talk of maybe being able to upgrade your ps3 and all its just pointless.If your going to spend the $600 and then plan on upgrading once a year then buy whats tried and proven which is the PC.

true but sony is way too arrogant for their own good.I truly dont know how their fans respect themselves with sonys horrible customer service and continous acts of talking out their a$$es and not delivering what they promised.They are trying to beat Ms at the online thing which MS is tried and true at,trying to put the PC to shame at the first real go round, and the laundry list goes on and all they will fail at and still have their fans just doesnt make sense in the real world but hey if it works then they are smart for doing it.I do the same thing with my dogs...give em a couple treats and they shut-up no matter how ya treat them.Of course i treat my dogs as good as gold but sony on the other hand doesnt

I find it funny you(dnglebry) & everyone else bring up customer service tell me why would you have to interact with there customer service some much people act like they deal with sony all the time that is a Lame excuse or saying game are hard to develop for why us the customer should be worry about this it has nothing to do with us....I just find these excuses so lame & tired.

i agree with you hypothetically but not really.We care if a system is easy to develop for because that decides what games will get. I dont see how that wnet over your head but im more than happy to explain that for you.When you have your ps2 break 3 times and know atleast 6 people who had their ps2's break more than once you tend to deal with what????ding, ding, ding you got it customer service.I find it funny/lame that you(damondash) are making excuses for Sony coming up short in areas that affect you and i the CUSTOMER.That whole "CUSTOMER" word is in the customer service for a reason!

if it's hard to develop games, than there isn't as much incentive to develop it, it costs more, etc, all which trickle down to affecting the customer.
Look at the Jaguar. That thing was a developer's nightmare.
Anyhow, the ps3 is more than a console. That's not arrogance that's the simple truth. It's a two-edged sword, though, because some people don't want an entertainment hub, they want a game console, and the other extra features result in a higher price.
Then again, it could be seen as a bargain too. Just depends on where you start.

yeh it is more than a console but thats not the arrogance i speak of.Im talking about the we do not need a pc comment, the ps3 will make PC's obselete comment.Xbox 360 is the ps3 minus the web browser...if you want a high def dvd player u can have that...well by the time the ps3 releases that is.

dnglebry be so kind to answer these questions. what system had a reputation for being harder to develop for, the ps2 or xbox? which console came out ahead in the end, ps2 or xbox? which console overall had the larger/better library of games, ps2 or xbox? which console managed to outsell the 360 for about 5 months into the new year, ps2 or xbox?
are you still soo certain the difficulty assocaited in programming games will have a major impact? i dont.

I'm looking forward to seeing what developers are capable of with the PS3 (and all the other next gens I suppose) - especially Squaresoft/Square Enix! FFX looked awesome :P some developers realy know how to unlock a systems true capabilites, no matter how difficult it supposedely is to use!

ps2 is the answer to most all those questions but when it had a 2 year head start that kinda nullified the difficluty to develop for the system wiseguy.Now MS is once again easietr to develop for and has a year headstart so its a different story.

before myself or anyone else for that matter is going to take you serious, get your damn facts straight. the xbox released ONE year and X number of days after the ps2 (US that is). ps2 released on october 26, 2000 and xbox released november 15, 2001. 2001-2000 = 1 year and thus 2 + 2 is 4!!!! see AD is definately the best place to go to get all your answers. not only can you find information about the ps3, but also you can get some math lessons. im starting to feel that your 'nick' on here is beginning to suite you quite well....ok now i am being a "wiseguy."

Is the ps3 more than a console because it has a web browser???I mean every other feature the ps3 has the 360 has give or take one both ways.

I'm guessing thats the mentality. But it hasn't got an ounce of word processing functionality etc - I couldn't do any uni work on it now could... Guess I'll just go back to my PC then lol :I

i don't think the x360 can download full hd movies, blu ray, a web browser, GREAT exclusives, full backwards compatability, HUGE HD, built in wifi, 1080p, integration of full psp!, motion sensing capabilities, free online, more usb ports, cell processor, etc. 87) i'll find more and edit my post.

I've heard Perfect Dark isn't the Halo-killer everyone wanted it to be... What are the over-rated games apart from that? I like the look of a Demo my mate had called Condemned...

ghost.R had HORRIBLE online, oblivion froze all the time doa4 was fun, GUN sux, cod is ok, ive had alot of games and i havent had them for long cause they're not very good, but the ps3 will just have better titles it will be that simple
