i CANNOT GET IT ANY SMALLER FOR Nero TO COPY IT TO 4.7 DVD ANY HELP?

Have not got this one yet, did you rip with DVDFab, if so and the file is too big, then run it through Shrink again and see if it reduces it to the correct size.

Also make sure your target size is set to 4300.

I did both, Syriana and Eight Below, today.
I used DVD Shrink w/Nero, and as always, had AnyDVD running in the background. Only things I took out, were the foreign languages.

I had no problem with Syriana. AnyDVD and NeroRecode was an easy burn at 73% compression movie only. Unfortunately you need a clear head and a note pad to follow the movie it's so damn complicated. Make sure you get the English subtitles and have your DVD display them; cause your gonna need them.

I retained everything, with the exception of a couple of things, and the final compression % was about 65+.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

The pain I suffered while watching SYRIANA. It's got to be one of the worst movies I have ever backed up!

just in case anyone is checking what protection syriana has, it is standard css, and DVD Shrink alone will rip this disk.

DVDFabDecrypter + Shrink worked just fine. Movie-only came out to about 74% compression.
