Hey guys, I tried burning a couple of new movies. So I read it with Decrypter but then when I try to read it with Shrink it it gives me this message. "C:/GloryRoad\Video_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB" But its not just glory road this has happened before with some other new movies. Why is that?

These are newer protected movies that neither Shrink or DVD Decrypter can handle the protection on because of the lack of updates. Download the free DVDFab Decrypter and the rip to your HDD and process with Shrink as usual.

This happens because they put a what I like to call a "dummy" file in the movie as a form of protection. Check out my signature for links to VobBlanker. Read up on how to use it at the site and there is even a free download site for the program. Pretty self explanitory on how to use the program. After you run it through this program then you will be able to shrink it to your liking. Any questions feel free to ask.

You get this message if a VOB file is corrupt, or a copy protection that shrink can not handle.

Use the advice from arniebear use either DVDFab Decrypter or use AnyDVD from slysoft.

Both programes can be downloaded from my sig ;)
