I don't want to tempt fate here, but my box has been rock solid since the ver 4.00 update. well ok the EPG is still crap but touch wood everything is ok, oh and the odd scrambled channel (but still keep sound)

My EPG is fine on V4 .. try this

INFO & EPG

Menu > User Setup > Time Setting > GMT + 01.00 >
Current Time > Enter the correct time and go across and change to AUTO >
Summer Time is ON .. This should work for the Info and the EPG

changing the gmt to +1;00 also works for the epg on my ver3.00 its not perfect but does cover most channels pretty accuratley if anybody was wondering why i'm still running ver3.00 i've never felt the need to upgrade my software it auto rolls fine never get any problems with scrambled signal if i ever do i'll run ver 4.00 see if thats any better

but u are one of a very few who have found no problems with v3.00.

the box uses the box firmware not starview firmware. You can get it at the link at the bottom of my post mate.

i see on fleabay starview firmware 400e software only £2 for the box ,is 400e for the original starview or are there 2 versions old and the box??

there are only one now as the box has been updated to v4.50 for ireland and v4.51 for the uk only for thebox

v4 for starview is totally different and not compatible with each other

you can only get what your provider provides and yes you are correct in the C***** area you will only get 65 inc radio in kildare area so who is telling the truth and in dublin 176 is max you get there
