DVD Shrink can't find the main movie title 1

I have DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and DVD Shrink 3.2 installed. I use DVD Decrypter to rip a DVD movie. It was successfully. However, when I tried to use DVD Shrink to reauthorize the content, I can?t find the main movie title 1. Then I can?t back up the video file. When I used DVD Decrypter, I tied to include all the content or just Movie+IPO of the DVD. Now matter what I tried, the main movie title 1 just doesn?t show up. Any knows how to solve this issue?

If you do just main movie + Ifo's you need to use the reauthor mode to open your file, otherwise Shrink will not do it. Just what movie are you trying to do?

Just a note that I should add is that the main movie is not always Title 1. It could be Title 3 or even Title 7. It's usually the longer title though, so when you use reauthor in Shrink, play the title back to see if it's the main movie.

The movie is Madagascar by Dreamworks Video. I think somehow the original DVD disk hides out the the main movie title 1.

This is my region 2 Madagascar. Use DVDFab Decrypter (FREE) it will break the movie encryption while putting the movie onto your HDD then open Shrink. DVDFab Decrypter can be downloaded by using the link in my sig ;)

This is how to do it in 6 easy steps using the Region 1 DVD and DVD Shrink:
STEP 1
Click on re-author when you open DVD Shrink.
STEP 2
Choose the drive where the Madagascar DVD is by using the drop down option underneath compression settings and DVD browser.
STEP 3
Scroll down to where it says Main Movie. You'll notice that Title 18 is the only one there with a running time of 1:25:52. That is the one you want.
STEP 4
Highlight Title 18, right click on it and click on Add. DVD Shrink will begin to analyize the movie for you.
STEP 5
Once DVD Shrink is finished analyzing, click on Compression Settings. You'll notice that you have 100% compression, so you're doing something right.
STEP 6
Click on Backup and proceed like you normally would.
Keep in mind that you will lose all menus and all bonus material by doing it this way. Also keep in mind that Madagascar contains the RipGuard copy protection, so you'll need to use AnyDVD in conjunction with DVD Shrink like I did or you'll have to rip the disc to your hard drive first with DVDFab Decrypter before opening DVD Shrink. DVD Shrink cannot handle this disc alone.

Hi, everyone
I have the same problem with my movie (Flightplan).
After I copy it by using DVD Decrypter, it(main moive) doesn't show up in shrink3.1 (re-author mode, select dvd browser).
Can anyone help out?

Did you do main movie + Ifo's? Also, Flightplan is not one that DVD Decrypter can do, did you use another program in conjunction with DVDD?

Yes, I chose main movie and ifo files.I have been using these two program (shrink and DVD Decrypter) all the time without problem.
by the way, I don't understand what you say, "did you use another program in conjunction with DVDD?"
do you have any suggestion?

DVD Decrypter has not been updated for over a year, and is not able to rip Flightplan properly. I was wondering if you used AnyDVD running behind Decrypter or whether you used PGCEdit to import a PSL file for this movie? Otherwise, I suggest you try ripping with DVDFab Decrypter that will handle the new encryptions and then open with Shrink.

Or try the new program RipIt4Me that will create the PSL files and then Shrink will be able to open the movie and you can do movie only if that is what you want. Guide and sw in my sig for this. You can just use the 1Click option in the program it will do it all.
