Hiya.

As a newbie, I thought DVD Shrink was the easiest program in the world for making back ups once I coupled it with Nero. Three easy steps and it's done!

And the one time I needed to use Dvd Decriptor with it, AfterDawn's guide was a major blessing. Thanks!!!

when i first started doing backups a few months ago i had no idea what i was, or needed to do.
a google search later and i soon became an afterdawn member. the people here at AD are some of the most helpfull and most knowledgeable people i have ever had the chance to be aquainted with.
i not only learned how to backup my movies but also much more PC related things that i had no idea how to do before. i have been a member here now for a few months and i would only hope to think that i have helped a few other people also myself.
i plan to stay with AD for a very long time and i can only hope to become as knowledgeable as some of the many...many talented people here.

@tjedwards , I guess that makes this the best site for learning those things you never knew you wanted to know - like DVD Shrink... :-D

there's a few other things I'm struggling with learning to do but couldn't figure where to post them - and I didn't want to make several new threads, so they're grouped into "Newbie needs help" in General Discussions/Afterdawn feedback & Suggestions ( http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/361066 )... since you're around longer than I, maybe you or somone you know (or anyone else who reads it) have a good suggestion in mind... ??? (oh, trying to stay on topic here so if AfterDawn likes the suggestion I put there too, maybe it will help the newbie DVD Shrink users too)

Once I get this other stuff down pat a little more, I hope to pass the knowledge along too... was even going write a guide but it was already done - and it was good [geez, you guys are sure quick with those]
