I think PS3 will be awesome, i mean it's going to have Unreal Tournament 2007....that is going to be one of the best games for 2007 i thikn....i like my 360 and i think the PS3 will kick just as much a$$ if not more.

no not sony....samsung has released one, it's $999.99, Sony does have a Viao coming with Blu Ray, and the PS3.

the samsung Blu-ray player is doing terrible but its the first of the Blu-ray players so its kinda expected to have some bumps in the road

wierd i guess there is always to sides to the story though...i've read all good reviews for it, anyways hopefully the PS3 will do better on it since it will be last console launched.

I heard nintendo are planing to launch the wii before the PS3.Hmmm...Im an Xbox type of guy but I also love Sony and I have to admit that Playstation 3 is going to be spectacular, I also cant wait to see how the wii will turn out.
*thinks for a while* man I got to get a PS3, after seening its potential in such games as heavenly sword, killzone, Eight Days, ect. I also heard a rumour that the games that were shown for the PS3 is just the tip of the ice berg of its true power. *gets goosebumps*...cant wait what the games will look like when they use 100% of its power.

Yeah, Nintendo would be just plain stpid to launch the Wii after PS3....unless they did it a couple months down the way, and yes i read the same thing the wii will come out in October or even September.

Its funny how things change. Back when the 360 just came out so many ppl on AD says its the greatest thing ever and alot of PS3 vs 360 forums got started and the majority of the ppl dissed on the PS3. Now near the PS3's release its the other way around. Wonder where all those 360 supporters went???
not tryin to start flames its just that i have notice how back when 360 first came out ppl were saying it has better graphics and such.... then changed to equal or little difference to the PS3... and now PS3 has better graphics.
its probably the hype of the moment type of thing. ppl will like what ever is new. Im just callin it how i see it.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

i didnt people saying the 360 looks better then the ps3 but i saw them saying it will be equal or slightly worse. your right about people liking whats new though.my view is that the ps3 will be great but the 360 isnt far behind it so if you have a 360 and have had the next gen for a year u cant lose either way.

They big thing is price though i think thats one of the biggest factors this cycle. It's playing a bigger role than in almost anyother previous console race

I doubt price will effect sales. Its like gas prices.... no matter how expensive ppl will still buy it. Even if the PS3 was 800 or 900 dollars im sure it will still be sold out everywhere.

Early adopters won't care about the price.It will sell out.In fact they will be going for much more on sites like ebay.
I have heard so many say "I will get one when it comes down in price"But the point is they are going to get one and that will mean sales down the road.Besides anyone who realizes what it packs under the hood shouldn't think 600 is that much.And remember they do have a $500 model.

Yea, people will buy the PS3 or Xbox360 no matter what the price is. They'll want the latest and the greatest. In all reality, $600 is not that much money, especially when people have had who knows how much time to come up with that money.

I don't think so, its only a $100 difference, if the core version does sell more its only b/c they didn't have enough premium's in stock. I think it was stupid to offer 2 models for this and the 360.

Yeah I think the $600 one will sell a little better as well.I think it depends on if you have HDTV, a wireless router, etc.I think the $500 one will sell well because the $600 ones will be sold out and people who really want one will say "hey I can just upgrade it later"(with the exception of the hdmi).
In the end the $600 one will be more successful though.
