OK, be gentle, I am definitely not up on most of you huys tech level. DVD Shrink rips everything fine to my hard drive, and I can watch these file on my computer no problem...but they would look and sound much nicer on my TV. DVD Shrink just goes to check the disks and no matter what I insert, it just keeps search or (more often) crashes DVD Shrink. Burning with Nero 6.3.1, have some crap DVD but using Verbatim LiteScribe and it still doesn't work. ANy ideas where to start. Please talk to me like I am 4, the last time I built a computer and did any kind of serious tweaking processor speed was still measured in MHz!
Do not install Nero InCD whatever you do. It often causes problems,
It would also be a good idea to post your NeroHistory log back to this thread. It often contains clues that help diagnose problems. The log is a text file and is in this path:
The log is divided into sections, each section providing a record for a burn attempt. We probably want the very last section for the last burn attempted. Each section begins similar to the following:
