Firstly, please, don't use all caps. It is extremely annoying (never mind that it's against the rules here).
Secondly, if you peruse the forum, even in the slightest way, you'll see the numerous alternatives to Shrink, such as DVDFab, VOBB, CloneDVD, etc., etc.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
Mate what are you talking bout all the new movies do still work with DVD Shrink all u have to do is keep AnyDVD up to date and the only thing i chane is using DVD Fab Decrypter and for the final step i use CloneDVD 2.

I'm too cheap to buy AnyDVD and my trial period has expired, so I usually just rip with DVDFab, then use DVD Shrink and burn with Imgburn. Sure was nice when I had AnyDVD though....
Well....I use Shrink to open the dvd from the drive...Then I use FreeDVD which is a free download to take any protection out of the video folder...Then I burn with Nero 6 ultra. Haven't found any new movies I couldn't backup with this method.
