yeah, its gonna take ages before they get anywhere near a mod. im with DamonDash about the 9-12 months. and i think that it will probably cost as much or nearnly as much as the ps3 itself.

yeah, when they come out, they will be close to $1000. Once I can get one for below $200 I will. DVD burners were also crazy expensive when they came out and you can now get one for $30. It wont take to long for bluray burners to get cheaper

Nah bro.Their talking about a bluray burner or recorder in other words. It has the ability to burn them. The ps3 won't have a bluray burner just a bluray player.

The burner is going to be more expensive because it does more.Same thing with the HD-DVD recorder.

They will come down.Hell dvd recorders are still pretty expensive for a good brand.I remember when dvd players and recorders came out they were very expensive about the same as the bluray ones.

I'll probably just go with a pc bluray drive because they usually come down quickly this will alow me to burn and watch at a lower price.

wooo man I had to walk 2 miles for some beer lol.The store wasn't open so I had to keep walking way the hell down the road to another one.

Yeah all what you have to do is be patient and eventually everything wil go down in price. But the problem is i dont want to wait so i pay ful price for them.

OFF TOPIC: Your not that lucky for beer i guess. Cause theres one literly beside my house. I just go up and past this hill then go down it and there it is.

I don't want to wait either.I will get the ps3 and play the blurays on that.I won't need to burn any for a long time anyways and hopefully the burners will be standard and lower priced by then.

Yo I used to have a little store only 3 blocks down but it closed. The folks were so nice they were from Thailand.I hope it reopens with so new owners or something.Man what a rip 16 bones for a 6 of corona and a 6 of natural light lol.

Well i just dont want my Blu-ray games to get ruined cause if im paying so much i want them to last. Thats why i want a modchip for my backup games so they dont get ruined. Cause i heard its very close from the "lense" to the "blu-ray part".

****OFF TOPIC**** how can a beer store go out of buisnes lol.

Oh ok I see what you mean.I don't think it will be hacked very soon though and maybe by the time it is they will have come down.I'm thinking maybe a usb hard drive for backups becuase a bluray burner is just to much.

off topic.Well it wasn't just a beer store lol it was a quicky mart.I dunno she said they raised the rent on her. They didn't have gas so that is prolly the main bussiness at a store like that.

Me and the lady and her husband were great freinds she talked my ear off every time I came in.She lives right next to me in a freaking mansion so they aint doing that bad.Mean while I got a shack lol.

****OFF-TOPIC**** yeah i heard of grocery stores selling beer. But it just seemed like were i lived all the groccery stores that were selling beer just stopped. But at least this one groccery place still sold wine and a bit of beer. But then i moved afew days ago sh*t.

well ok The ps3 has a usb port and linux installed so any usb hdd will work(hopefully.I mean it's all just speculation but it will prolly work.Same with hacking xbox and xbox 360 with usb hdd's it worked great and i'm hopeing the ps3 will be the same..

***off topic*** lol.Where I live they all sell beer.Beer, cigarettes, gas and chips is probably the best sellers. For some reason the mart was closed even though it was about 11:15 so I just kept walking.I wish I had some lime cause it's good in corona.

i was wondering if you cang et a Blu-ray burner instead of a dvd burner when you buy a new computer, i mean its not going to be that expensive, especially when you buy a DELL. that might save some money because i already have 2 dvd burners so ill just get a bluray that is an upgrade for the computer.

@tycobb Oh really that would be great if it worked. If so what exactly would/can it do?

****OFF-TOPIC**** Yeah i used to always go to this one store. They must of made a ton of money cause me and all of my freinds went their everyday and bought drinks, chips, gas, sunflower seeds whatever. They just didint sell beer. Exept energy drinks. Still not the same. BTW limes are discusting noatte what you put in it.

yep skyline that's exactly my point. If bluray wins it will come standard on any new pc and even for old pc's you could just replace the drive once they become standard.

@face ok it's like this. You can store the game iso image on the usb hdd and then plug it in to the ps3.The software or mod or whatever will read it and then you can play the game from the usb drive. You may even be able to store it on the 60gb hdd that comes with the ps3 via a mod of some sorts.

***off topic*** not a lime fan huh? I don't really enjoy the taste of most beers so I like to put some lime in the corona for a limey goodness lol.Don't try it with other beers that arn't mexican or it will suck.
