Yep it's for real.It'll come out right before it bombs.
I really showed it to justify the ps3 price this is about $700 and has nowhere near the specs of the ps3.It only confirms exactly what we've all been saying and that's that even though the ps3 is expensive it's still a resonable price for such hardware.

it can play pc games.So actually believe it or not it's library of games is pretty extensive.Even more games than all the current consoles combined.It will also play evo games but I don't put much stock in that.
what's cool is that you wouldn't need a modchip to play backups.
But still it's a flop in the making.It is a nice little setup though for casual pc gamers.The controller is a dual shock rip off.

Oh thats really neat if it canplay pc game i might actually get it. And i do agree it is a nockoff of the ps2 controller.

So another company is steping into the gaming market. I definately think this Evo console will flop. What next Sega is going to step in again with Dreamcast 2? Ohh well looks like there are going to be 4 consoles going head to head in the next gen console wars.
by the way is that thing really backwards compatible with every PC game.

Well it doesn't need backwards compatibility like consoles because it is a pc.
The one thing I know well though is pc games and I know many arn't compatible with gamepads.
Just click my sig.That's it!!!!!That's all of them.And even those games may not be compatible with this particular pad.However a wireless mouse and keyboard would work great and pc gamers preffer it anyways.

Well of coarse none of the other consoles can play pc games and of coarse the pc can't play console games so the answer is yes.

*xmen legends rise of apocalypse
with those games above being pc games.

Oh ok my bad.Well no it can play any pc game but only those games can be played with the controller.Other games will have to be played with keyboard and mouse or emulated with software(which is never very sucessful).

Yep I do.
In fact keyboard/mouse will be it's main setup.
I'm surprised the others haven't post here.It has been a succesful thread though.

It looks alot like a fat ps2 with pretty much the smae controllers. Clone is probably the wrong word i would say its a PS2 look alike.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

that wasn;t at e3 this year or any other show for the matter. We knew about PS3 years before the release and this evo thinks were going to pay $700 for a console weve never heard of? what are its specs anyway?

How is it not a playstation clone?
looks like ps2,dual shock rip off,same idea as ps3, same price point.
I understand it's a pc in a small form factor but isn't that what ps3 is? I consider xbox to be a playstation clone.

I wouldn't though face.It doesn't have the hardware to push next gen pc titles.It's good for now but in 2 years it will be a brink.Of coarse they claim everything is upgradable which is an advantage over a console.
