Please can anyone help? What do I need to do?
I load the dvd, open Shrink and click on open disc, when it has analysed it I click on Back up and shrink closes and dissapears. I have Nero open and AnyDVD.Nothing happens


Any assistance will be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum. Lets try it this way. Use the ripper function in the new version of AnyDVD and rip the DVD to HD. Then use Shrink to compress the files on HD and use Nero or DVDDecrypter to burn the DVD Movie. Usually when that happens it is the encryption or structure errors that cause Shrink to close although it also could be caused by lack of Ram. You will need approx 512 ram to do a movie properly although it can be done w/ less. What is the name of the movie and are you doing the whole disk or just the main movie?

Thanks for taking the time out to give me a hand. The movie is 'The 40 year old virgin' I have 512 DDR RAM, 200Gb HD.I tried doing the whole disk and just the movie. I will give ripping it with AnyDVD to my HD a go. It will probably take a long time to rip, right?
