Using the latest version of AnyDVD, and DVD Shrink, I get an error message that says "cycling redundancy errorsector is copy protected" error. This has happened on more than one ocassion.

Hello.

The latest version of AnyDVD is 6.0.3.1. Is that what you have? What title are you trying to backup?


Try a free alternative method using DVDFab Decrypter. See the guide below:

kabledog , yeah that happens with DVD Shrink being the program doesnt update anymore.its the newer protection on the lastest dvds thats causing transcoding problems with DVD Shrink. USE CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD and you will be good to go ,heres a guide

Try the ripper function with AnyDVD(right click fox head) and then open those files with Shrink and do what you've been doing.

i used to get that same stupid error when i was using hokey pokey media, i learned the hard way by losing a lot of my backups
