I know your new to the ps3 forum so I figured I would tell you that these types of threads never go well.Most here will say ps3 because we are ps3 fans and most on the 360 forum will say 360.

They are both great consoles.I see the ps3 edging out 360 on many points.

im a playstation fan to just wondering witch system is worth shelling out all that dough so far there is'nt that much games for the xbox360.so if xbox360 does.nt want to get blown out of the universe by the ps3 they better put out some great games. they (xbox360) have a few but nothing as good as ps3 comming out on nov,17th. in closing the ps3s gonna take it hands down.i will be getting mine on nov 17th .

Well you can thank crazy 360 fanboys for making it so hard to talk about which is better(huh superfngr)lol.

I aggree with you. I think sony has the best games.There is halo 3 and mass effect for 360 which I'm looking forward to but that's about it.As far as shelling out the dough you will have to shell out about the same either way so take your pick.

The ps3 has more hardware for the price so it's of coarse more expensive.

Well and I mean it like this.I have 360 and we got the $400 one.But after we spent another 100 on the wifi adapter your up to $500.See the 360 appears cheaper but they get you on the extras.

Ps3 will have a bluray player as well as wifi,free online gaming,backwards compatibilty...etc

So in the end it has more and that's why it cost's more.You will shell out at least $1000 on a 360 to try and make it do what a $600 ps3 will do and that's a fact.

also Blu-ray dvd players are at best starting out $1000 and sony is selling there ps3 at a reasonable cost.

hey i do what i can to promote my baby the tre 60. GO buy it right NOW new guy LOL. JK they both are good consoles its just all about prefernce and what ur looking for. to me they are equal as gaming consoles but the ps3 has more to offer as a media center so if thats worth the extra money then get the ps3 if not then snag the cheaper xbox 360.

i catch a bad rep for being a dousche, i see as fighting fire with fire but u cant do that freely in the ps3 forum.its a video game forum people shouldnt be so on edge all the time and ready to report people. Hey...now this guy knows what his talking about, as he said its all about prefference. I know all the facts there is and Im still planning on getting an xbox 360. And in the near future Ill get a PS3.

The xbox 360 couldve been so much better I think. The reason I say this is because I remember around E3 2005 it was said that xbox 360 would have an HD hard drive and wifi. But a couple of months later it was said that it would not have the drive or wifi. Now look, their releasing the wifi and HD drive as add-ons. Not only that but I just read about a week ago that microsoft will release some sort of HDMI add-on for it. So yeah if you add all the add-ons together with the 360 youll get about the same price point as the PS3. Microsoft should of just kept xbox 360 with every thing built in.
