DVD Fab Nero Shrink Decrypter....How do I use these?

I had been burning great with shrink and decrypter until I had to get a new burner, now an NEC and I now have 2 hard drives and I can't burn anything. First off, I don't know how to use these new programs that are now on my computer(DVD FAB, Nero & Inter Video DVD Copy) I'm spoiled to what is familar to me, shrink and decrypter. I uninstalled my shrink and reinstalled from this site. It goes through all the motions but it burns nothing. I've wasted a ton of blank discs and cant' figure this out. Can some one help me figure out why shrinkd & decrypter won't work for me anymore, or teach me how to use these new programs. Thank you!!!

Here's a guide for using DVDFab Decrypter/DVD Shrink/DVD Decrypter for backing up disks.

There is also a more automated free approach provided by a new program, Ripit4me:

The Ripit4me approach should be very familiar to you I would think.

I suspect DVD Shrink failed because it isn't able to deal with newer copy protections. That's why other programs like DVDFab Decrypter and DVD Decrypter with PSL files are used for ripping. Many use the commercial approach employing AnyDVD in the background for decryption and overcoming copy protection. It has a free trial available.

Is your DVD burner working? Does it appear in My Computer? Does it playback DVDs OK? If not, uninstall the IDE Controllers and the burner itself following this guide.

Okay....I'm up and burning again! Thanks! You are always my saviors! I'm running into cyclic redundancy stuff....I've downloaded AnyDVD and am attempting to try that...I'll hollar if I can't figure it out. THanks AGAIN!!!
