DVD shrink Problems?

all of a sudden my DVD Shrink stop working normally. I had it set up so when it finish compressing the files, DVD Shrink would ask to insert a blank dvd disc to write on. Now the files get compressed and sent to my c: drive w/o being copied. I do not know how to copy the files though. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

what program are you using to burn the DVD? shrink will not burn a dvd

go to EDIT...... hit PREFERANCES

Also make sure you have your burner picked under 'select backup target'.
Sounds like you may have hard disc folder checked instead.

I had it burning with Nero and it was working great, but all of a sudden it would just compress the files to the folder w/o requesting a blank media disk. I will check your suggestions out though. Thanks.

No as Roxio is not set up to burn automatically w/ Shrink. Only DVDDecrypter,Imgburn or Nero can be used to burn automatically.

You can though manually burn the files to DVD

Thank you guys, apparentely i accidently switched my target drive to my HDD. I appreciate your help! On the side note do you guys have problems burning Walt Disney Dvd's, especially the new one's.

Hi jay1169
Like the others I have no problems w/ them or the Sony's. Both have newer protection that Shrink alone can't handle.
You can rip to your hard drive 1st w/ DVD Fab Decrypter (free & still updated) then open those files in Shrink.

Or run AnyDVD ad dvdabyss suggested in the background w/ Shrink. Great little app -also regularly updated - not free but does have a 21 day free trial. http://slysoft.com
