dvd shrink makes my laptop shut down...

i can start shrink and then after a few minutes, my whole computer will shut down.....well it not mine, it the girlfriends....anyone got any ideas on whats up??

Are you running any applications in the background? If so, try shutting them down and then try to use DVD Shrink again.

Might also be the movie you are doing too.
You can tryp ripping 1st w/ DVDFab Decrypter (free) then opening those files in Shrink.

Or have AnyDVD running in the background. Not free but has a 21 day free trial. http://slysoft.com

As gogochar said shut down any other processes. Shrink is very CPU intensive. You may be overheating. For the lappy a cooling pad is a good to use.
