Problem with AnyDVD to use with Shrink

I've been using AnyDVD since 06/11/2005. Up until today there were
not problems. When I downloaded 6.0.4.5 I got a message that said
my trial period had expired. Do you need to rebuy this program
every year or am I doing something wrong? Never had a problem
downloading and running an update till now.
Thanks for any help. You guys always know the right answers.

AnyDVD has lifetime free updating. Have you tried applying your key to the new download? How to link below:

Thanks for all the help guys. I thought this should be a lifetime
update too. However after several hours of hassling it and not
being able to get my key to reactivate it correctly, I just went
and bought the program again. I really liked Slysofts programs.
Hope this doesn't happen again.

that doesn't seem right that you would have to re-purchase the "lifetime" program. did you communicate with the people at slysoft? was this on a new or different computer or some other factor that might explain the problem? just curious because it seems to weird that they couldn't help you out as a paying customer with a legitimate key.

I did contact Slysoft. They were trying to be very helpful. They
needed some information I had neglected to save (from a purchase
confirmation email). When I first purchased this program I was
not familiar with the way to save a copy of the email to my hard
drive. So it was my fault that I didn't save the numbers they
wanted.
What happened that caused my program to go out was that during
a download of an update my ISP (which is dial-up) cut out in the
middle of the download and shut off my computer. After I got my
computer started again, I went back and did the download. It
downloaded okay, but when it was installed to run the message
came up about the expired trial. After several attempts to get
the registration key I had saved on a CD to work I just decided
it was better to not get so frustrated hassling it and buy it
again.

Since I purchased AnyDVD again the program has been working fine.
However I have talked to several other people (all purchased the
programs at different times)they have all had the same thing
happen to them that happened to me. Maybe there is a problem
with the program rather than our machines?

I had the same problem as well. I've had AnyDVD since November 2005, when I upgraded my AnyDVD from vesion 6.0.4.2 to 6.0.4.5, all of a sudden I came up with a message saying that my trial version had ended. After trying a bunch of things I just ended up buying a new license. I should have done this last month when they had that birthday coupon drats : ( My problem was different though. My original license was a gift from my friend who went overseas last year and apparently Slysoft starting from the lastest version black listed that serial number. I guess other people had it too for some reason. Well now I have my own unique license so it should be fine. I just brought it so I hope Slysoft is in business for a least another two years : )
