Hi there. I have started using the DVD Shrink program and I really love it! But, when I played a dvd back, it had the English words at the bottom of the screen every time someone spoke. The movie is in English anyway, so I would not need the subtitles with it. How can I please stop the subtitles from showing up? Please help me any way you can. Thanks, kathy

You most likely can turn them off if you have not lost your remote. You may choose not to copy them. That would be the files in the lower right hand side. Simply remove the check in the checkbox indicating you want to to copy that information. I usually remove all languages except for English in both upper and lower boxes. Sometimes the English subtitles are useful if a non Englaish language is spoken on the screen. I personally keep the English for that reason.

I would like to know if I need to click on "all languages" or just English in the DVD Shrink properties? I am having trouble with getting my movies to do right. one has english subtitles with the people talking english. and the other one has two people saying what the on-screen people are doing and saying with the on-screen people's voices are inaudible. I don't know how to fix it. thanks, kathy

@kattkitty

I would keep the English subtitles in case you need them. And you will for movies like Syriana and Kill Bill. Just get you instructions out for your DVD player and turn off the option that shows subtitles. That way you can turn them on if need be.
