This game is supposed to be out early next year and I hope its as good as Resi 4. What do u guys think?

I think being that the game wasn't even in playable form at E3, it will be out maybe mid to late next year. But we are hoping it will be better than RE4 but we won't know till we see at least more than a trailer

I think without a doubt it will be better then resident evil 5 because it's on ps3 and resident evil 4 was on gamecube as well as on the ps2.

Capcom is such a great company they make so many good game's that are great.

I hope they change the whole concept back towards the older games, because i didn't really enjoy the "over the shoulder" POV thing in 4.
Or if they maybe changed it so you can change to POV a bit so it becomes a more workable format, it would be ok.

@ face . Just because a game has nice graphics, that doesn't mean too much in my book. No one knows if it will be better until it is playable. gameplay is key, not graphics
@ barf, if you have a 360 check out dead rising, it is by capcom as well and it is a great zombie game

I'm hoping to get a 360 soon enough, but I'm might get PS3 instead.
The graphics of the game are going to be good anyway, so we needn't worry.

I did try Stubbs the zombie on X-box which was quite good. But to cartoony to be as good as Resident evil

Well, enlighten us then, how do you know that?
Did you play it?
Did you get to read the script for the game?
Point to be made here : until there is at least a beta test released, no one will know if it's a good game, for all we know controlls could be f***ed up, the story could be boring and repetitive, or the game itself might look like a piece of sh*t.
*and by the way, it's spelled "Definately" :-) *

yes true,what c;mon! the re series have a long history of the series been good.it will be a good game,you don't have to worry about that.
just like theere is no demo for the new tony hawk game,but i can garuntee it will be good,the same goes for unreal 2007,smackdown vs raw 2007,and if i wrong i appalogise,but I'M NOT!

let me guess, you forgot about RE dead aim , RE survivor, and RE survivor : code veronica....
And as i stated earlier, if the game plays like part 4 did, i will probably not get it till it either drops in price normally or goes platinum *assuming PS3 will see platinum releases as well*

No you can't.**
Just because games have been good in the past, doesn't mean the next game can't be an abomination upon the series.
Who says the developers didn't get lazy, did a half @ssed job, and made horrible game?
We won't know till there have been beta's sent to magazines, or if the game gets released.
So far, i've been severely criticising the 360's game releases, and i will be equally critical about the PS3's releases.
Because for what these companies are charging us, i'm expecting one hell of a game...
And so far, it's been a big dissapointment.

**And FYI, with me being one of those old hardcore skaters, i gave up on the tony hawk series after part 2, since realism was non existant. Not to mention the fact that Neversoft seemed to have a knack for taking out good things in the game and replacing it with cr@p...*

Dont think I dont know who you are. Anyways I never said resident evil has good graphics and that's it. No I never even said it had good graphics. All what I said is capcom is great company that's all.
If you think I ment by resident evil 5 will only have goog graphics and that's it when I said this Quote:

Good point fiend. To me, alot of the resident evil games are just rehashes with little improvement or just ways to bank more money on the franchise name. RE4 was good but we will have to wait and see on RE5. Just because a game is on the "next gen" of consoles means nothing as far as if the game will be better or not than the last gen. Anyone remember Mario Sunshine? Madden 2006 for the 360?

ahh yes RE5, Ive heard so many rumors going around about the teaser trailer shown. Such as who is the character that is shown walking in the daylight, some say its Criss Redfield, or Hunk, or Billy, the return of krauser(stupid in my view since theres no resemblence), Carlos, or a brand new character.
there is more speculation that the other characters running towards the main one seem to be advanced zombies such as crimson heads or ganados. Since Ada managed to get the sample of the plaga parasite in the end of RE4 there is more speculation that they could be a hybrid between a zombie and a Ganado. If you remember Krauser said that Wesker is going to bring back umbrella, a new umbrella using the sample which happens to support the idea of a hybrid of the T-virus and the plaga sample.
I definatlely wouldnt mind seeing Krauser back, though he was defeated by Leon and then killed again by Ada...maybe just maybe he may still be alive.

just in case some of you havent seen the RE5 teaser (which I know youve all seen) Ill post it anyway. Plus I want to get some feed back on what you guys think the plot should be. I heard a rumor that this resident evil will be the final one of the main story though there still may be spin offs from the series. What kind of gun mechanics do you want to see too.
