@moggser, well if you really want to know:
Angels appear in every religion, they are spiritual beings that can help us and guide us in our daily lives, intercede with God for us and can sometimes take physical form.
They are only allowed to help us if we ask for their help, or else if we are in a life threatening situation.
Some people believe that we each have an angel to look after us i.e. our guardian angel, that spends our whole life with us, from beginning to end.
If you want to feel your angel's presence, sit somewhere quiet, close your eyes and ask your guardian angel to give you a hug. Let me know how it feels! :)

Of course you have one! LOL!
Yes i have tried it, and it works. Maybe try asking somewhere when you are more relaxed, like before you go to sleep or something.
Or try asking for little things, like parking spaces, stuff like that!
The more you believe in them and are grateful to them for what they do, the more they do for you! :)

Eva you sound like my friend, she swears by angels and always talks to them. I'm always asking St. Anthony for help my mother really believes in him and hes always came good for me, although my husband says will you stop asking him for favours its costing us a fortune, cause i'll always pledge him a few euro for help;-)LOL

@ anto.. Hows things ? I just felt I had to share a story with you regarding St Anthony,,Many years ago, I lost my bike, Infact it was robbed, I couldnt go home as I would have been killed, but as it was getting dark I had no choice but go home and face the music, terrified I went up to my Grannies house prior to going home, and told her that my bike was robbed, she took down a statue of St Anthony and told me to pray for its safe return, we both lit a candle and silently said a prayer for its return, I then went home and my Mother said wheres your bike? I was surprised she knew I didnt have it, Where is it? and then she said that the local Garda were on the phone saying it had been handed in by someone!!!
I was delighted and rushed back down to the Garda station to collect it, and cycled home again on it, I called in to Grannys house on the way home to tell her the news, see I told you St Anthony finds everything, now tomorrow you need to go back to the church, light a candle and say a prayer to St Anthony thanking him for the safe return of your bike, so next morning I cycled over to the chapel, left the bike up against the railings and went in to say my prayers of thanks and light a candle, i left the church and some fecker had robbed my bleeding bike again LOL
Sorry Anto this was a good one years ago!!! LOL
@ Eva your telling Moggser to get a hug from his Guardian Angel... In fairness to Moggser a bear wouldnt give him a hug !!! LOL

Hillarious Des! you probably did'nt put enough in anthonys box, and he sold your bike to make up the shortfall;-) LOL, no but on a serious note I think its what you believe in yourself, by the way your granny sounds like mine :-)

Too true Eva and st. anthony has always worked for me, also my Dad died 5yrs. ago aged 58 and I always ask him for help and guidance also so I suppose he's like an angel to me.;-)

Ah Des don't feel bad, sure I can be the biggest joker around and I did enjoy your story about anthony and I'll probaly be heard telling me Ma tomorrow so no, we all love a laugh and a joke :-) and BTW my Da was the biggest non believer in anything when he was around.

Heres one for the Mammy:
Peter invites his mother over for tea in his new appartment, she notices his new flat mate Joanne is very pretty, Peter denies theres anything going on between them and says that the only reason she is staying there is to help with the rent,
A week later Joanne says to Peter" Ever since your Mother came over for tea that night i cant find the frying pan" Peter Emails his Mother and says "Dear Mum, Im not saying you took the frying pan and I am not saying you didnt take the frying pan , but since your visit last week its gone missing "...Love Peter... His Mum Replies " Dear Son "I am not saying you are sleeping with Joanne and I am not saying you dont sleep with Joanne... but if she was sleeping in her own bed she would have found the bleeding frying pan by now!!! Love Mum.....
