What a quality load of old crap that was... guardian angels eh?..
Well.. here's a thought.. what about angels? do they have guardian angels too?... layer upon layer of angels all looking out for those below them in the pecking order, or is it more like a rota system where they clock on and off, each taking turns to ge guardian and subject? :)
Now then.. apparently angels have the ability to travel from point A to point B in the wink of an eye. Say the angel was to pass through point C on the way and decide to stop off... would the time spent at point C count in the overall travel time, or can an angel be in two places at once?
Thinking further.. So an angel can travel from point A to point B "in a wink of an eye".. in old money that is instantaneous.. therefore suggesting faster than light propulsion abilities... As something approaches the speed of light any mass which it has also gets closer and closer to infinity. This means that an angel must have zero mass. So what size is an angel? zero mass implies a subatomic particle or wave of some kind.. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? Why would they dance?.. to what music?

Angels aren't fourth dimensional beings like humans are, so they aren't bound by time like us. They also do not have physical bodies so the question of size is irrelevant.
@rtm - just because you don't believe in something is no reason to mock it. Millions and millions, if not billions, of people all over the world believe in angels, and millions of those have had personal experience of angels helping them. :)
There is an unfortunate tendency for people to disbelieve things just because they cannot see them. The human eye is not developed enough to see everything, just like the human ear cannot hear certain ranges of sound. I think that is where the word 'faith' comes into it.

I agree with you Eva.
Unfortunately for some unless things can be seen with the naked eye or proven to them by some kind of machine reading or scientific experimrent they just don't belive these things exist.
On a lighter note, Is my guardian angel keeping nice and warm over there, It's freezing over here this morning -8c and -14c with the wind chill. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

As an angel (a little research will show that in many cultures that is just what I am seen as) I think I am allowed to question the nature of my existence just as any other creature is :)
I only accept fact to be valid.. belief and faith can always be torn down by fact and therefore are both invalid arguments. I have seen many things which currently cannot be explained by science, but as science relies on fact and is always moving forwards I know that with continued research one day these currently impossible to explain things will be explained, quantified and measured.
Old saying.. any sufficiently advanced technology when shown to those whose science is not so advanced will be viewed as magic. Show a medieval alchemist one of those 3d solid article from xray/scan growing devices we have.. Those still look like magic to me. Watch their response.
I will not say something cannot exist, but I will say that trying to force somebody to believe something which cannot by current science be proved to be a fact will always lead to it being torn down as "insufficient evidence" or "possible fantasy" from those of us who only accept that proven measurable and testable facts are truly valid.

Nobody is trying to force anybody to believe in anything. What was actually said was 'don't mock something because you don't believe in it'. I personally know angels exist because i have seen them, felt their presence and heard their messages.
And if you read quantum physics you will see there are many things that can only be explained by the universe being both twelfth dimensional and holographic. Solid matter as we see it does not actually exist and vibrates in and out of existence faster than the eye can see.

Belief in something doesn't mean that it does or doesn't exist. :D I happen to believe that angels are a part of our universe and the next to come. But that is what faith is all about. OF course we are going to get a quick slap on the hand if this sort of thing is continued.
We all believe in something, if that belief is God based and what comes with it then so be it. BUT if that belief is in science or human accounts and facts then that's fine too. That's the beauty of the community we live in (AD in this case) we can all have our own thoughts and ideas and as long as we don't hurt anyone or "force" them on others then I think we are ok.

We didn't get anymore snow, but it's gotten pretty cold though.
-14c with the wind chill this morning, really make you wanna get outta bed.
Gotta stop waking up to the radio in the morning, First thing they always seem to talk about is how cold it is outside. LOL
