When I load one of my dvd's to make a backup, I press start on the Xpress and after about 3 minutes it errors out and says "error reading sectors" and quits.
Anyone know whats up?

What DVD Writer are you using and what media are you using?

Verbatim writer & my "proof of life" dvd.
I insert the POL dvd into the writer and
press start on the XPress and its starts its process and after about several minutes it
stops and says error reading title and then error reading sectors. Same thing when I tried my new tears of the sun dvd.
Is it that I need to performa another process before I use the XPress? I thought XPress did it all in one shot.

Oh, media...I'm using the Fuji DVD's, but I haven't even gotten that far into the process where it asks me to insert the blank media, so the media's not the problem.

Check out this user guide to see if it offers you any help. If that fails try using DVD Shrink to and a burning program to acertain whether your problem was softwre or hardware related.
