i doubt it will have a umd reader or burner
they havent even released a regular umd burner
i mean people are already getting games on their memory stick
if they could burn them it would mean they could carry them all around with them..they would never sell another game lol
but i could be wrong
My 11 Year Collection =]
-psp 1.5..2 gb mem stick (gta lcs, socom, need for speed most wanted, nba live 06, burnout, wipeout pure, nba, sims 2)
-2.8 ghz dell 4600 [its sorry], a 1.06 ghz dell laptop [also sorry]
-xbox, ps2, gamecube, gba sp, n64 (about 60 games for these)
NO WIRELESS CONNECTION =[

that it'll have a umd burner?
i read somewhere that they wont be releasing one of those
but a reader seems reasonable
i do know that its supposed to communicate with psp wirelessly

no he didnt say a burner but a reader and he said that the company has a disc that let the reader be used as a burner and yes there is a built in modem of some sort that connects to the psp wirelessly so if you have the ps3 connected to the internet you should be able to go on the psp with it

even if sony doesnt release a reader or writer or both, u might see some made by 3rd party companies
Amd Sempron 3200+(Palermo) 1.8ghz | 1GB PC3200 DDR
Geforce 7300LE | Asus Amerbine S939 | Leadtek TV2000XP
240GB hdd space (1x160,1x80) | Win2k | Ubuntu 7.10

of course all they really need is the reader off the psp and they could start developing from there

well considering taht the ps3 and psp can already communicate data,i doubt that they would add a umd slot,it would serve no purpose...
