Basically what I would like is some info on the Company..mainly the phone number. I was hoping someone who lived nearby could do some enquiries for me. Thanks for your reply though.

@pulsar, Yes thats the compamy alright, their web site gives the address as 100 Prince of Wales Road, Norwich, Norfolk NR1 1DD, I checked out the directory given by gurnard and couldnt locate a phone number for them either. Funny thing my sons first order was delivered within 2 weeks...a really smart jacket...just cannot understand why there's problems getting this one.
I really appreciate ALL the help I am getting from you guys, Cheers.

To everyone who has responded to my post, Thank You I am overwhelmed with the assistance offered...it is wonderful to know that members are so willing to offer assistance when needed. I will send an email and will certainly report back as to the outcome. I am certain there has been some type of oversight and i have no doubts that the matter will soon be resolved.

Well sad to say, some 24 hours later there has been no response to my email...seems like my thoughts on a resolution were incorrect.
I have just been informed I can lodge a case against the "supplier" through PayPal so I am regrettably taking this course of action,

So much for Caroline at phixuk. It really annoys me when these companies just take the p*ss out of customers. The internet is great, but when you get these sh*t outfits, it just spoils it all.
Bunch of fr*gging t*ssers...

@Pulsar, I now tend to agree with you, I dont think Caroline does exist, I was hoping there would be a reply to my email when I awoke this morning but no such luck. Guess I will just now leave it in the hands of PayPal. Cheers.

Hi.. You can always try checking if they are a real company here.
http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/
There is a UK trick with ebay and paypal..they always say allow 28 days for delivery..paypal won't refund after 30 days. Don't hold your breath when dealing with businesses (especially ebay businesses) in the UK.
I pay C.O.D on everything these days because I was ripped off lots of times on ebay, paypal or not..

@janrocks, My son has dealt with them only recently and had no problems with his first purchase, it's this latest one that's giving us grief.

@pulsar yes I agree and the fact that they STILL refuse to respond to any correspondence doesnt help restore any faith in having the matter solved in a satisfactory manner. It appears caroline, if she does represent the company concerned was "talking through her hat"
Its funny because their web site states it will respond to emails within 24 hours.

Just giving you some food for thought: I noticed that Phix Clothing's website is hosted by Alchemy Communications through webhost4life. Alchemy, in my experience, is a rather dodgy ISP. Many ISPs will shut down sites if there is any evidence of fraudulent activity by their customers. Alchemy sometimes doesn't. If you really want to pursue this, you could still try notifying them and, if they don't shut the site down, contact the California Attorney General (where Alchemy and their downstream, webhost4life, is located) and inform them that Alchemy/Webhost4life may be knowingly abetting fraud by allowing this site to continue running. California is pretty tough on that kind of thing and, at least, that'll make what Phix is doing a little harder and more expensive. Again, perhaps this is another remedy if Phix doesn't fix the situation on their own.
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

Well PayPal are about as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike. They say as the dispute is over 45 days old (from time of purchase) I can "go whistle".....maybe I should have lodged a PayPal claim at the same time as I placed the order, or NOT allowed a reasonable time for postage from the UK to Aust.
I think that PayPal should be advised that the company appears to be "Dodgy" at best and withdraw their services, save them a lot of work within the 45 day period.
Stay Tuned.

Sorry about spelling your name wrong Gwendolin. I agree, 45 days is not enough time for International transactions. I purchased a dvd from the US, I'm in Canada. It took well over 30 days. I can get in my car and drive to the place of origin in 2hrs, if I didn't have to take a ferry to the mainland. It was stuck in Customs all that time, and the postmark indicated the seller mailed the very same day. It got to Customs that night. Hopefully this may be the cause of your son's delay.
