Advice regarding PS3

I just need a Yes or No Answer from these two questions unless you are desparately dying to add something.
1. The PS3 Release date is November 17, 2006 Worldwide?
2. Same Question as #1 but USA?
3. Is it worth staying up the night before to get a PS3? If no, would there be a better idea to this?
4. Buy a PS3 and Selling it on eBay or on the internet guarantee a profit like the 360 on the week of the release?

there have been several preorder threads throughout here. the best answer i can probably give about preordering is to simply call your local EB games or Gamestop. ask them if they know when or if they will be taking preorders and what is their policy towards preordering.....if you live in a place where those stores are not available, i am not sure what to say then about preordering. you can also check toys r us or w/e gaming store people go to in your area.
again i said this in the sticky, but here it is in case you missed it. shortly after E3 2006 Gamestop/EB said they are not going to take any preorders until they have a clear understanding on the quantities they will receieve. most employees i have talked to and in the article i read those companies said they are holding off till around september, more towards the end of september if not october. so check with your local shop and see what they have to say. im betting preorders will start shortly after TGS which is schedule for the 3rd week of september. hope that helps

this is what I would do and if i get the money what im gone do
1. get two or three
2. hold them till its dry like around december 15-20 th
3. then sell them on ebay cause they are gone go fu**in crazyy trying to find one b4 christmas , so there teens boyfriends will be happy lmao . thats sure to start chaos

well depending on your situations with school(hw,exams,projects...) those who get the system at launch have thanksgiving break to test out their new system.

ok here's another question regarding ps3. let's say that i stayed up all night, the night before the release and was able to get a couple. would i generate the most profit from selling it the first week? second week? third week? a week before christmas? christmas week? what do you think???

ehh christmas i would think. one of the biggest reasons to get one is that occasion. but launch week would be good also. or when they start to go out of stock. i cant do this since im not so loaded, but if i was, this would really be smart. only if i was a little older and had a good job. 9 bux an hour sux....

3. Um, even if you did that, I still doubt you'll be lucky enought to grab one.
4. I'm 99.9% sure the answer is "yes".

I bought 3, but i dont know when to sell them. Im selling em all. Dont care for games... Im 15 btw. I was thinking maybe by christmas sony will get a huge massive shipment in and our plans will be ruined. ima wait like 2 days after release.
PS: i just saw the commercial for school for scoundrels. The tennis scene looks funny.
PPS: I want to make a remix to the Carls Jr Cow Commercial with the song. "smack that" by Akon i think.....

I'm going to try to get ahold of 4. This is my first time trying a stunt like this, but if this follows 360's suit, then I can make around 1000 maybe even more if I sell 4. Actually, I'm thinking of selling 3 and keeping one for myself.
I have a tracker, and it links to my cell phone. If I get a text message about it, I'm dropping whatever it is I'm doing (literally running out of class lol) and ordering. If I'm unsucessful (which is a possibility), I'm camping out and getting my hands on atleast one of them.
Then, eBay will do the rest. Week 1, 2 of launch would bring in most profit. Don't sell higher than that, wait until Christmas. People get so insane to have one, it's not even funny, but tragic how someone is willing to pay a grand just for a video game system.
I call it exploiting the capitalistic system lol

umm yeah im not that kind of money to buy 3 or 4 but i do have enough money to buy 1 well. I might not even have enough money to buy one at launch. but i will have one around Jan. or early Feb..
here are my reasons
1) PS3 is guaranteed to have no bug of any sort
2)more games will be available not that the launch lineup is any bad it actually pretty good. bettter than the 360.
3)i need to get a job.

I'm going to camp out the night before realise. How many do you think Walmart and Bestbuy will be selling? Did GameStop sell all their PS3s on pre orders or will they have more on release day?
