I didnt like it but , this is what I think they should have did . I think they should have kept the LOOK of the Boomerang controller But make it shorter on the handles or cut the boomerang about the same size as the ps2 controllers , I liked the look of them they looked so futuristic and sleek . thats my view please comment on your views also .anyone else think they should take the LOOK of the Boomer , not the shape ?

I think the boomerrang look wasnt that pretty. the old ps2 controller is like their trademark. i understand why they went back to it and how hard it is to make a new design
my idea would be like a controller has two levels, think holding a frisbee, on the top, it would be the joy sticks for the thumbs, then on the bottom of the frisbee would be the buttons, so you can use all your fingers. now it wouldnt be a frisbee i was just giving the image. its just an idea. would be cool to see how it would be done.

yeah I feel you Dabundan it is their trademark but I like the style not the full shape (the long handle) just the smooveness of the controller , it looks more high tech, or out of this world lol I think they should have made the controller like the boom but make it the same lenth as the trademark old school one thats what I was meanin

yeah that is true Chevy but I bought so many controllers and they add up thats the only reason i think it time for a change , All my ps2 controllers at some point in time start to stick or one of the shoulder buttons gets stuck or sticks lol I am one person who would like stronger controllers 24 dollars adds up

Looking at that controller made my hands feel very uncomfortable.Im glad they got rid of it.After 3 or 4 hours of game play your not going to tell me your hands not going to start to ache.

Well I guess most people are happy the boomerang controller has been ditched, but I wouldn't have minded unless the controller shape made it hard to use the controller.

yeah I did say I didnt like the boomerang shape but I like the style of it I think they should have kept the same concept but make it the same lenth as the ps2 maybe cut the boom down ALOT lol and keep the same smoothness of it but im glad alot of people are jumpin in here and postin there views thanks

yeah man I hate that sticky shit I spent so much money on controllers that could have been good games thats why I think they should have modded it to the same size as the ps2 lenth and just tryed it maybe people would have like it , I remember when the dual shock came I hated it at first but my hands got use to it . I was so use to the ps1 controller at first but look what happend I grew to love the new analog stick lol

have to agree withyou (blacgoku) i thought the sticks got in the way at first but were would we be without them now? i think sony need to fix the shoulder/trigger buttons as its the one thing the m$ controllers got spot on.
the proof of the pudding is the eating and if the boomerang pad was more ergonomic and therefore easier to use i think they would of stuck with it regardless of the bad reception the press gave it

YOu know its kinda hard for sony to chang things dont you think? like people want new innovative styles but then they criticize when the style is not what they want. iono, i read some forums saying how sony is stupid if they kept the boom. to me, a change isnt so bad. although, i must admit, i kinda wish there would be rumble, but that's ok, ill get the vibration when im shakeing the controller when im using that 6 axis thing

I bet the old ps3 controller (the boomarang thing) would have felt comfortable in your hands though.

Hmm that never happened to me. I only have afew ps2 controllers and all of them still work. I have like 4 (well couning ps1 controllers 7) but that's because I had the original one and I wanted a wireless one as well. Then the other two were gifts and also used for the multitab.

@ marsey99 . Im glad you feelin me and you are right the analog was a great idea ,it makes certain games play way better and yeah they need to do somethin about the shoulder buttons they feel good but im heavy handed lol
@ dabundan . that is very true people was bashing them for trying somethin new but they need to think about when they put in the analog , I hated it but love it now I think they should have just ignored the hatters and tryed them out the way I mention ,then maybe those critics would have hushed up , at least let the gamers test them First and make sugestions and improvements
@ Face. yeah thats what I thought I would have at lease rather tryed it , and you are good on sticks man I wish I was like that lol Me and my nephews really them , they fuck up my sticks and I finish them cause I take them over my cousins house and play Def jam and Tekken with them so I were and tear them
All in all if nobody like them just go back to the old school ps2 shape

Ahh I see what you mean (I think you mean the anolog sticks right?) . I go to people's houses and then Im like wtf happened to the anologg stciks. He's like "oh my brother bit them off". And then he comes in and he's like "yeah and Im working on the next controller". I look at it it has all these f*cking teeth mark in it. Then I also know other people with all this sh*t on the controller. And plus other people I know have riped of anolog sticks.

yeah Face thats the main problem im gettin at is the analog always ripps off lmao and yeah you are right I have one nephew that bit might rubber shit off so all mine are naked I beat his ass for that but really thats problem the first problem with the ps2 controller is that , then the shoulder buttons stick over time well for (me)but other than that they are great

Yeah like under neath the grip it's all stickie it's so werd. Anyways for my official sony controller's it still has the grip on but it is worren off from playing so much. But I still use it cause it still has the grip on it just not the little bumpy grid part. And my wireles controller is a mini controller so it is super small and the anolog sticks are plastic and have little indents for you fingers. So that way they dont were off.

Well now I see everywhere controllers on for cheap (including wireless ones). But I usually stick with the normal one cause the wireless one's run on batteries. But I use it sometimes like when playing 2 players.

hey Face do you know any cheap places online to get them? if you do could you put some links on here , I usually go to Target since its the only store near me but they be taxing there lol . Also does anyone like the style of the Ps3 ? what are your views on it as well . I dont think it looks bad at all , 360 fanboys talk about it and dogg it saying its a george foreman grill . My responce to that . How many foreman grill sold across the U.S ? thats whats gone happen when the Ps3 gets out the bag so call it a grill I know I will have one . I think Sony should put it in a clear case ,Blue ,Black , White , or Grey, with led's inside it to make it stand out. they should take notes from other sites that sell stuff like that . I think it would boost sells alot if you have a Ps3 to match you clear controller

Good question. I dont know either. I would think they would run on batteries but they will probably be rechargable batteries or somthing like that.
@blacGoku Sorry I dont shop much online. Because were I live there is like 5 ideo game store's in competition with each other. So I have a big selection. Like for example one store is a better deal for renting. Another store has more copies of the game and are usally there but more expensive. While another sore has the cheapest price for buying them and so on.
As for the ps3 design I think that it look's great. It is slick and cool looking. I would think that is the best looking system if not the xbox 360 looks the best.
