shrink and dvd decrypter combo won't work anymore

I have been using this combo to back up so many dvds but now i find i keep getting errors when trying to back up anymore. i tried to back up flightplan, the brothers grimm and i couldn't back it up. i get the decrypt complete or so i think and when i put it into DVD Shrink i get some message about could not find a certone VOB file. Anyone have any suggestions of a better combo to use. Please be advised i am still somewhat of a newbie.

Yes, this is covered quite often. Decryptor and Shrink are very old programs that do not get updated anymore. You try and backup newer DVDs, with newer encryptions, obviously these two programs won't work.

AnyDVD in conjunction with these programs would make them work. AnyDVD is also probably the easiest of the bunch.

There's also DVDFab which is a very popular choice.

To reiterate, this has been covered many times. Just search the site and you'll see an abundance of posts that state the same thing.

That package is still working but you need the KING - that would be AnyDVD. That is what makes the package work.

If u want to save $ try DVDFab Express + Vob Blanker. If the result is OK u can still use DVDShrink. If u r able to spent some $ then purchase AnyDVD + CloneDVD. Those r the simpliest methods to stay in the field.

Evidently it'll be tough for DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to rip movies now-a-days, so it's wise to go with either RipIt4Me or DVDFAB Decrypter (and post process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file through VobBlanker once DVDFAB is done ripping).
