HELP! DVD Shrink problems,....I know they've been covered in past threads but I NEED the WHOLE process!

Hey guys, I'm brand new here.

I just downloaded DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and I almost know how to use them. I see that there have been many posts about these programs but they all seem to have to do with some error. I need help with the whole process. From backing up the dvd to burning it to a separate cd.

I'm not too good with computers and I don't know much of the lingo or where to find files most of the time, so I sorta need to be talked to like a six year old.

I have tried to experiment on my own with the programs and I've been getting A LOT of different errors and confusing problems.

Thank you so much, I'd love to help out whoever can help me with passwords to sites or anything else (though I prob can't be too much of a help with comp problems)

Welcome to aD
Add one more program - DVDFab decrypter (free) - still updated and will handle the newer copy protections. Shrink and Decrypter - great programs - but are no longer updated to handle the newer stuff.

Now here's a guide to take you step by step:

Let's give this one a go and see how that goes for you.

Any problems/errors just post back what part of the process you were in and what error you received.

wow, that guide was extremely thourough. I appreciate it so much. I'm having trouble grasping the idea that people on this site will help out complete strangers. You should feel real good about yourself.

Once you're a bit comfortable doing it that way, you may want to experiment with things you can do with shrink. Animated guides are HERE
