Copying games to use on PSP

I know, I know you have heard this all before but I am a PSP virgin and am really struggling. I have downloaded some games from PSP blender both (rar and iso) but cannot get any of them to work. My PSP is version 2.8; I am copying them to PSP/GAMES; I even heave the fastloader thingy (but only unzipped 1 file - all I get is data corrupt!! Please help, I was really looking forward to recapturing my youth with my new toy.

you cant do it on a 2.8 sorry,youll have to wait till a downgrader comes out.

I appreciate your help and you would think it would all go smoothly but no!
I downloaded these files and copied them to PSP/GAME but nothing even showed up on my PSP when I disconnected.
Help!

i think they go into the photo folder,try in there,then goto photos and load them from there.

no, to be honest i think putting tiff exploit games into the games folder is a reasonable assumption to make, at the end of the day chipper, we all started at this stage.
people come here for advice, not elitist jeering.

a PSPvirgin you should try to get your money back from PSP blender all they did was lie to you. If you payed over some other system called city..... complain to them and that PSP blender lied to you they will give you your money back. If you complain to PSP blender the will just tell you to get a mod-chip.

i dont think they would give money back....
because if they dont give it back nothing will happen to them...
they will lose out on money...
they wont be scared because downloading is illegal anyway...
well maybe it`s different in us cuz im in uk...... YES!!!!

i just went on pspblender......
there a ripoff kazaa, limewire, and all that are exactly the same.. becareful with filesharing progs..
some of them are fake...
like psp blender

sorry to inform you but i dont think they are going to make a downgrader for 2.8 or 2.81, i am not really sure i think it only for 2.81

dont count your chickens just yet bash. member what we all said about 2.6 or even 2.71 being downgraded. Even if 2.8/2.81 were never downgraded there will be firmware realeases with flaws and we will be able to downgrade them.

I HEARD 2.80 cant load stuff over 2mb in the tiff exploit..so i dont thing there will be to...

I Know PSP blender will not give him his money back but what PSP blender does wrong is that you do not pay them directly, you pay them through another site. So if you complain to the other site and just tell them that they lied and it was false advertisement then they will give you your money back. I was one of their victims, complaind but wat I had was double security and paid the other site with paypal so if the other site scrued me then I would have complained to Paypal

Unbilevable!!! I was having the same problem with My PSP as PSPvirgin over here did (i got 2.71 though), and i followed stevenps2 instructions perfectly: i went to http://www.psp-hacks.com/2006/09/16/some...mebrew-for-280/ to find some homebrew games and downloaded tron, then i uploaded them into my PSP photo folder instead of my games folder like he said, and as soon as i tryed to go into my photo menu it froze!!! i couldnt even turn off my PSP!!! i thought i had bricked the whole thing but luckily i pancked and pulled the battery from the back and reformated my memory card... I appreciate all the advice i get from the hacking pros that come to this site but bad advice that isnt corrected or deleted doesnt make me a happy camper...
