Issue: Whenever I try to backup a disk, DVD Shrink crashes, saying an exception has occured.

Below are the output log files and corresponding event log entry. Since there have been previous issues regarding Nero, I currently have "enabling burning with Nero" unchecked. I'm using Nero 6.6.0.18

Exception output file:

Hello.

Does this happen with every disk you try to backup or with just a certain disk?

Are you using any other programs in the background like AnyDVD?

Are you backing up directly from the DVD itself or from ripped files on the hard disk? If the latter, are you passing the ripped files through a "cleanup" program like FixVTS or VobBlanker before processing with DVD Shrink?

Does this error only occur after clicking the Backup! button in Shrink? Does any processing occur before the error results?

Have you tried uninstalling DVD Shrink and then doing a clean reinstall?

If you have the Nero suite, have you tried using Nero Recode instead of DVD Shrink? Does the same error occur?

There's another free shrinker out there as well. At least it used to be free.
