Weird Thing With AnyDVD + DVD Shrink

Hey guys,

So I've been using AnyDVD + Shrink for almost a year now and working was working perfectly at times I'd have to use DVDFAB but that was far and few....

Here's my problem, I got a new HD and backed up all my software to a spare PC. So I have the regkey for AnyDVD. Now when I installed it along with Shrink and tried to backup a movie, I get the following error from Shrink....

Failed to read file "cd dive letter"
Copy Protection Error - The read failed because the sector is encrypted.

Now I have AnyDVD running in the back ground so not sure what the problem is, I've tried to reinstall shrink first then AnyDVD and vice verser. Doesn't seem to work either way. Has anyone seen this issue before?

Hi.

Is the Fox icon in the taskbar tray red or gray? Does the AnyDVD ripper work? Did you download and install a new version of AnyDVD to which you applied the key? Do you have the latest version 6.0.6.1? Is the disk dirty or does it have scratches? Does this error occur immediately at the start or is some processing done before the error occurs?

it sounds like AnyDVD is not doing it's thing
did you reinstall AnyDVD from your backup disc?
if you did i suggest you down load a new one one from here
