DVD Shrink to Copy Movies

Lately I cannot copy any movies using DVD Shrink. Example, I was able to copy Bambi for my daughter several months ago and now I tries to copy again it wouldn't allow me to. It say somthing about copyright. Why is that?

BTW, I also have AnyDVD running on the background and I'd tried to enable and disable AnyDVD, it still wouldn't work

Any help would greatly appreciated

Try using the ripper function( right click fox head in Taskbar) in AnyDVD and rip the DVD to HD then use Shrink. Sounds like the Macrovision was left on the other copy and it needs to be removed.

Make sure in Shrink under Edit>Preferences> Output files that remove Macrovision protection has a check mark next to it

Thank for your help. I'd tried to right click fox head in Taskbar but I do not see any ripper function.

The movie Bambi and Bambi II is original DVD of which I tries to copy from.

In Shrink the check mark next to remove Macrovision is checked.

The Ripp-to-Hard Drive is the 5th command when you right click (5th from the top down) They should be:

Enable AnyDVD
Settings
Help
Slysoft
Rip Video-DVD to Hardrive
Autostart
Exit

You can also use 2 other free tools that will work on any new released movies/dvds.

1) DVDFAB Decrypter - an awesome free ripper, here http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
2) RipIt4Me - DVD Decrypter + FixVTS (another flawless method), here http://www.ripit4me.org/download.html
3) VobBlanker - get it here http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm

Sometimes you'll need to post process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file through VobBlanker after you've successfully ripped your movie with DVDFAB Decrypter for "security" purpose. VobBlanker will process, clean out and fix any left over corrupted/invalid cells, vts, pgc, etc.

No wonder I don't see it because I don't have it. When I right click on the fox head, this is what I see:

Enable AnyDVD
Show Information
Settings
Help
Slysoft
Autostart
Exit

Why was mine different from yours? Could it be because mine are old version? I got this before they jank AnyDVD off for free downolad.

I just downloaded "DVDFAB Decrypter" and am in the process of copying Bambi movie for my daughter. I'll keep you posted.

Is your AnyDVD version an outdated trial version. If so it does not work now. Now you have to use Plan B which is Alkohol's idea. I suggest that you use Ripit4Me as it is the easiest there.
