How to burn PS2 games downloaded from BitTorrent?

I just download a game using BitTorrent from Meganova but i only have a ISO file and i do not have a MDS file to burn it with DVD Decrypter. Anyone here know who can burn this game???

you don't have to have the mds file to burn it with decrypter. Just choose the iso file and burn.

just make sure you use DVD-R disks cause +'s are just problems.

I tried burning it by choosing iso file but when i put it on my ps2 it says "this is not a valid ps2 disc".
I am using swap magic, i do not have problem with back up games copied from original games but only with download.
Will try to burn it in DVD-R to see if it works.

listen i use +rs -rs and both work fine ... i think you got a junk file .it has happened to me before . if it is good media you are using it could be +r or -r and shouldnt matter.

hwtc28: A PlayStation 2 would only say "Not a valid ps2 disk" if you pushed the eject button when putting in your burned game. You have to use the slide card and or flip top. You can't just boot swap magic and press eject then put in the burned game. It won't work.

Can someone save me some time and frustration? I have dl several dvds from bittorrent, etc. Problems getting them to run. Battlefield2 glitches (slow motion and stops, etc, etc.). Same with Mercenaries. Only Godzilla works without a hitch. Are files corrupt most of the time from these sites or did I screw up? Followed the tutorials to the best of my knowlege (Nero and burned slow). Takes days sometimes to get 100%. If this is the norm, then I will resort to using the originals. Thanks guys.

Bad media is normally the cause for glitches, slow motion and stops etc... i used to have them until i changed media.

albg get some Good media, check the DVD-R thread for ps2 dvd discussion forum.. Taiyo Yuden disc's are great you will have to probably order from the net. I would never use original's again :)

I'm brand new at burning PS2 games, and have wasted about 5 dvd+r's. I'm wondering if there is anything special I need on top of the iso. I mean, mod chip, or whatever. I'm at a complete loss and getting frustrated. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I am wondering sumthing I have just downloaded Final Fantasy XII through Bittorrent and I am not sure how too turn the the WinRAR archives into .iso files I have DVDDecrypter and I have started too extract the files using WinRAR but then I am not sure how I can change the .r60 and .r61 and so on files too iso or do I just have too put the iso files on there plz if u can give me a step by step guide how too do it or just tell me what to do it will all be apreciated

If I'm not mistaken. You don't. The .rar files is just your iso broken down and compressed. DVD Decryptor has nothing to do with the rar files. When your using WinRAR to extract them, select the option to your left that says "Extract and update files" and extract them to a folder. There you will find your completed iso. I don't think I'm wrong, but if I am, please, anyone feel free to correct me.

hey people, i burned an iso file (downloaded) for my ps2, and it happens to say "please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disk".....was the file junk, or am i doing something wrong?

hm...i'm also a newbie to this burning of games downloaded off bt. the folder i downloaded had lotsa files, like the compressed ones as well as the .r30 -.r65 files...does anyone know how to burn these files for my ps2 to read?
