Did you try it on Verbatim's or Taiyo Yuden's? What different types of media did you use?

Yeah that's definitely the problem. Princo is terrible. The other kind I've never heard of. I use these: http://www.supermediastore.com/taiyo-yuden-silver-thermal-8x-dvd-...

Back again, i followed the guide buth at page 5 (PSS) i have a problem. After dragging and dropping the remaining PSS files i change the compression rate to 85%, i choose to overwrite the original files ans i select Alt 1. I click the go button and i get a warning screen (sorry, i don't now how to copie a screenshot in this reply) saying :

Component'ACTIVESKIN.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Maybe it is because i'm from Europe (PAL) or because i took my ISO with Decrypter (the rental game isn't anymore in my posession). What to do ?

By the way Tokijin, i finded a UK shop who's shipping Taiyo Yuden's discs to Belgium.

This is one of those things. If you search for it on AD, you'll find nothing, but if you search for it on Google it takes you to the answer, and it's on AD! It's alarming how often this happens. Maybe the AD search engine just can't handle the massive amount of data on the AD servers.

Here's what you need to do:

If needed, place ACTIVESKIN.OCX into your C:\Windows\System32

Example: C:\Windows\system32\ACTIVESKIN.OCX <-- this is what it should have/read when you go into your "windows" and "system32 folder" after you've "extracted" and placed ACTIVESKIN.OCX in "system32" folder, now inside System32 folder, you should see your new ACTIVESKIN.OCX in there.

To get ACTIVESKIN.OCX into your "system32" folder, do as the following:

<> open up "gt4_tutorial" with WinRAR or winzip
<> double click on PSSDown
<> click on ACTIVESKIN.OCX and extract to specified folder
<> browse to local Disk C:(your hard drive), Windows, System32
and now click OK
<> now it should put ACTIVESKIN.OCX inside your system32 folder

Hey guys,

Having a bit of trouble getting Time Crisis 2 to work.

I downloaded the iso:

http://isohunt.com/download.php?mode=bt&id=10842242

And its listed as:
playstation PS2CD - Time Crisis 2 [USA] [CDFULL] 560 MB

Now I assume I need to patch it to bring it back to the proper filesize but I have no idea where to get this patch. Anybodyd have an idea?

Or am I on the wrong track? Any feedback would be welcome

I have burnt the .mds twice, and then converted it to .iso and burnt it. In the process I made three nice CD coasters.
